Host Chuck Todd asked, “Let me start with what we saw. Senator Tim Scott said, ‘We’ve been here too many times before. We cannot continue down this path. America cannot stand silent. Yeah, but stop the grant funding to create “Scorpion Teams” as unsupervised and unmanaged as unaccompanied minors at the shopping mall with guns and clubs, might help.....

It's sad for the officers too. A moment of Satanic excess has ruined their lives. They were doing a job no one else wanted and no one else was capable of doing: cleaning the Augean stables of Memphis.

Agree however I use that line for Biden & Co. too he’s unleashed so much of it’s become normal for many.
Those were hand picked police officers given the training, tools, and weapons, to do exactly what they did. Ask for management and supervision records on the team and you will find none. The grant got funded. It stops there.
I am not sure it was because this was a Scorpion unit. It was planned and could have easily been compromised of police from general public.
I wonder if the reason for it will become known? I did read that Tyre had an affair with one of the killer cop’s wife
Chuck Todd sure does love Tim Scott.
That alone says a mouthful.
Instead, you get individuals like these 5 cops, who clearly did not have the temperament to be police officers, but because they "looked like" the community they were 'serving' in addition to the lack of truly qualified candidates who wanted the job, they were likely hired to tick the right boxes.
I can see those cops being on a gang task force and doing some of the dirty work in "the hood", but not making traffic stops, especially if they are always turned up to "11" on the intensity meter.
Either way, Memphis will continue to descend into chaos as few and fewer people will want to take the risk of being a cop being told to do your job with one hand behind your back, so they will have to lower the standards and recruit more emotionally "questionable" candidates who lack impulse control. Meanwhile all of the media talking heads and politicians will dumb it all down to "racism".
But none dare call it “racism.”
Yes, it does look like something else was involved . . . It looked like a ghetto-style beat-down. It may have been sexual jealousy, or perhaps gang affiliations were involved. We may never know since all parties are black.
Unfortunately none of this will ever get trial discovery.
And what are the chances that 5 wicked people end up at the same job in the same unit at the same time? Boggles the mind.
You can’t stop evil like that. But you can do a better job of selecting and training and stop giving evil lack that uniforms, guns, and authority.

This is the result of pack mentality where no one has the courage to say “Enough!”
