Russia crossed an international boundary and attacked Ukraine. That is bad. There had been provocation from Ukraine, but it’s still bad.

NATO is now threatening to attack Russia. Unprovoked. Ukraine is not part of NATO. There is no reason for NATO to be involved. And yet NATO is initiating a war with Russia. And also signalling that nuclear weapons are very much on the table.

We’re crazy. We are the bad Guys here.

Except that NATO has NEVER threatened to attack Russia unprovoked.

And as for nuclear weapons, Russia has been threatening them since before they invaded.

I guess this attack on Russia and WW3 is like global warming, it isn’t happening but we keep being told it is happening.

Just wondering, is it that we can’t find Russia on the map? Because it’s right there if we want to attack it why don’t we?

And wait, Russia is so frigging stupid that we’re planning to attack it in WW3, but Russia commits its entire military to be chewed up in Ukraine for over a year.

Wow Putin is dumb.

What about China invading Tibet? Do international boundaries only count with white nations?
Russia is playing 19th Century Real Politics—setting up alliances with China, South Africa, Iran and even India. We have forgotten how—using only Cold War alliances like NATO. That worked when we were the toughest customer on the block—not so much now. We can not use brute force—we have forgotten how to use the velvet glove and the poison cup—Putin knows well how to play this game. He is ruthless and he may well have some unpleasant surprises for us.

All NATO has to do is say that Ukraine will not now or in the future be admitted to the organization. Problem solved. This is not America’s war and I will not fight if called upon.

Bump.

As a vet I do NOT support my pants-$**ting POTUS or government in a dirty war to protect their NWO dealings.

In fact, the jaundiced war-goons who got us here need to be dragged behind carts for what they’ve done... and I am not kidding.

BS, Balderdascious drivel.

Russia has lost militarily with forces that are shown to just be plain incompetent. The Russian economy is shown to be a facade for the western companies that created it. When they left, the Russians remaining don’t have the wherewithal to keep it running, much less return it to where it was.

Just what is the basis for saying that "NATO is now threatening to attack Russia" and "initiating a war with Russia?" I have seen nothing of the sort, but NATO has exercised considerable restraint in the face of Russian provocation and misconduct. Various private peace proposals to Russia have all been rejected.

Russian aggression against Ukraine goes back many years, with Russia under Putin seizing large swaths of the Donbas and the entire Crimea over the last decade. In addition, Russia has frequently made threats and claims against NATO members, especially against Poland and the Baltic Republics and the UK. And Putin's assassinations of critics in London, Spain, and other European venues were classic acts of war.

Putin, swollen by corruption and arrogance and surrounded by yes men, did not know when to quit and did not have an accurate understanding of the fundamental weakness of Russia's military. Dreaming of a restoration of the old Russian empire and having the territory of the Warsaw Pact as a Russian sphere of influence, Putin gambled on an invasion of Ukraine being a quick and easy winner.

With national survival at stake, Ukrainians though fought with great courage and determination that justly command the respect and support of free peoples everywhere. And it is Russia that is routinely issuing nuclear threats -- not NATO and the US. This will end badly for Putin and Russia, with Putin dead or otherwise out of power and his successors having to sue for peace on terms set by the US and NATO.
