Russia crossed an international boundary and attacked Ukraine. That is bad. There had been provocation from Ukraine, but it’s still bad.
NATO is now threatening to attack Russia. Unprovoked. Ukraine is not part of NATO. There is no reason for NATO to be involved. And yet NATO is initiating a war with Russia. And also signalling that nuclear weapons are very much on the table.
We’re crazy. We are the bad Guys here.
So refreshing to wake up to pure Russian propaganda.
While we should not have a war with Russia, the premise of the headline, that the West can’t handle a war with Russia, is patently false.
Russia can’t even defeat Ukraine. And that’s with us still withholding lots of weapons systems.
NATO could wipe out the Russian army in Ukraine. Which is exactly why Russia sabre rattles every day to scare off NATO.

But the collective West is not demanding a "regime change" as a prerequisite for peace. All the West is demanding is that Russia withdraw its troops and retroactively cancel the annexation of Ukrainian territory.

Russia has LIBERATED the Donbas in Eastern Ukraine from eight years of shelling of civilians by the Kiev regime put in power by coup in 2014. Ukraine is not a democracy. It is a corrupt dictatorship in which opposition to its tyranny has been outlawed.
The idea of Donbas being “invaded” and “conquered” territory is nonsense. These are people who consider themselves ethnic Russians by culture and language.
None of the warmongers posting here will acknowledge the people of Donbas WELCOMED becoming part of Russia under its defense umbrella so the Kiev tyrants could be stopped from their barbaric military relentlessly killing ethnic, unarmed Russians in Donbas. The Kiev tyrants kept killing civilians just because of their affinity for Russian culture, religion and language. Who would not want that to stop?
The USA was founded upon the principle of governed people deciding what government they want. These Eastern Ukrainian people WANT to be part of Russia.

This nonsense again? A western-aligned Ukraine is NOT an existential military threat to Russia. Neither Ukraine nor NATO have any desire to invade Russia. Instead, it is clear that Putin’s war is an existential military threat to Ukraine.
