I graduated from Mount Pleasant high School in 1966. It was a good school back in those days. I would say it had at least an 80% Italian enrollment. I was part of the 20% that were “hicks” from the country that were bussed in because our towns didn’t have high schools yet. The biggest transgressions were kids getting caught smoking in the bathrooms.
