Trump in South Carolina: 'This campaign will be about the future'

Former President Donald Trump on Saturday slammed President Joe Biden's handling of the presidency, vowing to take back the White House in 2024 and reverse what he said was a precipitous decline in the United States since the Democrat took office.

Trump was speaking to a crowd at the South Carolina state capitol, his second campaign event of the day after appearing before the New Hampshire Republican party earlier.

"Joe Biden has put America on the fast track to ruin and destruction," Trump told the small crowd, "and we will ensure that he does not receive four more years."

The Republican during his speech touted what he said was his own accomplished record while in the White House, including economic prosperity and secure border policy.

"We built hundreds and hundreds of miles of [border] wall," he said. "And we had the greatest border in history."

The president appeared with multiple key South Carolina GOP leaders including Gov. Henry McMaster and Sen. Lindsey Graham.

"The 2024 election is our one shot to save our country," he said, "and we need a leader who is ready to do that on Day One. ... Let's complete the unfinished business of making America great again."

Trump began the day's events with a fiery rally speech in New Hampshire in which he told attendees he's "more angry" and "committed" than he's ever been.

He concluded with,

God bless you. We need the blessings from God. Our country’s in big big trouble. God bless you all and we’ll turn it around, and we’ll turn it around fast.

Thank you all very much.

Trump is campaigning in New Hampshire and SC.

In South Carolina, Donald Trump avoids a direct assault on Ron DeSantis

All told, of Republican Primary voters that viewed Trump very favorably said the GOP should nominate someone else. Even among those who had a “very favorable” impression of Trump, 30% chose DeSantis, with the former President getting just 61% among those respondents who liked him the most.

Ron DeSantis has a 12-point lead over Donald Trump in a potential 2024 New Hampshire primary matchup: poll

Just caught the end of it, it was really great.

I didn't catch all of it but from what I saw, it was measured, disciplined, and focused. Unusual for Trump and absent the victimization bombast that has been the theme of earlier speeches.

Somebody has his ear and has advised him to knock off the lamentations about the past and get serious about the future. I wonder who?

It's a good sign.

“Trump in his roughly 45-minute speech was also critical of “RINOs,” “

I’d say Linda is among the Top 10 Senate RINOs.

Can Trump see and acknowledge that?

God’s hand is still on President Trump. As bad and as hopeless as it looks with the stolen elections, God will find a way.

Yes, America the Beautiful, on which God has shed His grace so abundantly, will not be dragged into the abyss of evil by the godless Left!

“All told, of Republican Primary voters that viewed Trump very favorably said the GOP should nominate someone else.”

Based on conversations I’ve had with some who seem to be backing away from Trump, I would hazard a guess that the majority of them naively believe the Democrats/media will be kinder and gentler to someone “less controversial.”

They forget that any Republican, as was the case with the Bushes, McCain and even Romney, will see hellfire rain down on them.

Unlike his predecessors, Trump fights back.

Trump tried that on DeSantis and it backfired!

With the ultimate RINO, Lindsay Graham standing right next to him. You think President Trump would have learned something.

They need to get more than his ear:

Does Coco Chow have anything to do with Joe Biden’s Classified Documents being sent and stored in Chinatown?

Both speeches by Trump today (NH and SC) were very encouraging.

Hope it continues.

Yeah, he needs to knock off the "Coco Chow" sh*t.

Really, Trump needs to knock off slamming all the people THAT HE HIRED!

Because all this does is remind us that he hired them in the first place.

"I only hire the best!"

“Yeah, he needs to knock off the “Coco Chow” “

It also shows he doesn’t understand what his comments do to his image.

He immediately alienated his Asian supporters. His base was already shrinking and he goes out of his way to lose more.

God will find a way.

He has. You will not be disappointed.

Right here in America.

Flag makers won't be able to keep up.

Who would have ever suspected,

As bad and as hopeless as it looks...

Sooo... keep on the Sunnyside.

Look familiar? It's not just the pastry.

Here's the primary translation of "rumble":

לְהַרְעִישׁ

It's from the same root as the rash rash rash sound of the groggers, as expressed in the song (which switches to English).

Ra'ash, the shaking you are probably familiar with from the Bible.

Purim in a nutshell:

"God bless you all and we’ll turn it around, and we’ll turn it around fast."

It's all under perfectly control.

🌞

Thanks for reading.

It was SC. Graham is a fixture in SC. What do you expect? Trump does not attack any republican except his direct competition for nomination. If Trump campaigns in Kentucky, you better believe the Turtle will be there as well.
