What are the Ukrainians supposed to do if they don’t want to be the Kremlin’s serfs? They will either win or their nation will be erased from the face of the Earth. Russia doesn’t give them any other option. Putin denies the very existence of the Ukrainian nation as an entity different from the Russian nation. You can’t negotiate with someone who denies your existence.
North Korea is already helping the Russian Wagner convicts with loads of weaponry in their goal of leveling to the ground Ukrainian villages and cities. N. Koreas help to Russia has been going on for months already.
They help the Russian attackers. We help the Ukrainian defenders.

Remember the Cuban Missile Crisis, Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenberg Gate. When you stand up to Russia, they back down. When you show weakness, they are emboldened and push forward. Putin is no different than Kruschev. The worst thing to do is make Putin think that you will yield to his threats, which will then become more frequent and more intense.
“Biden’s friends in Ukraine” are a side issue. Biden was reluctant from the getgo to supply Ukraine. But he’s been forced into it by Boris Johnson, Zelensky, and above all else the Ukrainian people, who have been surprisingly brave and effective fighters, even when Brandon was inclined to leave them twisting in the wind like he did in Afghanistan. Sure, Biden has corrupt friends in Ukraine, but Zelensky and the Sluga Narodu Party are not among them.
Had Russia won quickly and totally, nobody would have been more happy than Biden and his friends. They’d have made out like bandits.
