Massive protests have begun in across the country Friday night following the release of the Tyre Nichols bodycam footage, as cities around the country brace for violent riots.
In New York City, a man was photographed standing atop a smashed in police vehicle windshield.
NYPD officers were soon after seen trying to drag him down from atop the vehicle and eventually arrested him. At least three have been taken into custody in the Big Apple Friday evening as part of the protests, according to NBC New York.
Another stood over a cop car with a tattered American flag. Antifa has issued a call to arms for protestors to light up New York City on Friday night.
In Memphis, protesters chanted: "Say his name! Tyre Nichols!" and several dozen protesters blocked a heavily traveled bridge on Interstate 55 that is one of two main spans connecting Arkansas and Tennessee over the Mississippi River.
A poster shows the group calling upon demonstrators to gather at various locations in the Big Apple and 'Burn It All Down'.
Cities across America are anticipating widespread protests following the release of the distressing footage.
Federal employees in Memphis and Portland have been told to go home early, and workers have begun boarding up buildings. The mayor of New York City on Friday evening urged protesters to remain peaceful, and NYPD has made extensive preparations, including asking officers to stay on and work overtime when their shift finishes on Friday.
Protesters gathered in a park near the White House, in Memphis and other cities as the video was released.

Who was it who told us that Antifa was just ‘an idea’?
Curious. How can Antifa “call for violence” when it “doesn’t exist?”
A. Al Gore
B. Joe Biden
C. Bill Clinton
I mean I didn’t want to waste the other three guesses.
Opportunistic losers. NYPD must not tolerate
Like Iwo Jima or the few ship crew members surviving Pearl Harbor? Or the fire fighters taking the World Trade Center flag to carefully preserve it?
The unprovoked sneak attack killed 2,403 U.S. personnel, including 68 civilians, and destroyed or damaged 19 U.S. Navy ships, including 8 battleships.
No, wait, it's not.🤬🤬

If they protest, as a child of the 60s, I think that is ok.
Destroying stores, cars, setting fires is not ok.
Posters thanking justice as it has been begun at least, should be seen as well.
Antifa is what? Trying to remember who they are.
Guard the macys store
Macy’s? It’s the Memphis Wal-Mart that is in trouble tonight
Chris Wray says they’re an idea.
Sensational headline.
There was a small peaceful gathering in Atlanta.
About 50 people with signs chanting in centennial park.
Couple of 9mm slugs would stop that nonsense right away.
But hey. Those White Supremacists are who we really have to be afraid of.
Just a bunch of mostly peaceful Xiden voters.
Man I have a date tomorrow! Like its been 3 years... come on man.. is the CA bay area blowing up too.... We are going fishing so I guess I can pack. But really... Shaking my Head.... SMH
“How can Antifa “call for violence” when it “doesn’t exist?””
Even violence is just an idea, a loose idea by a disorganized set of spontaneous idea creators.
Gif....
LOL
Like once on the old version of Magnum PI and an innocent woman asked “does that mean he was in his stomach?” each of the guys had to suppress laughter until Mangum could say “No, it wasn’t in his stomach.”

Also great examples of honoring the flag. Heroes.
A good time to thank everyone here who served our country.
Bounce away boys and girls! You're only destroying that which you have already destroyed. Especially you NYC people who have flushed your multi-billion dollar finance industry down to Free Florida.
And, I believe that most US cities now have interstate highways that pretty much bypass the cities. Where there's no bypass the "Bloods" and the "Crips" can compete to sell transit insurance. Their economic competition should keep the costs of passing through the no-go zones under control.
I wonder what the cities are going to use for food?
