Black on black violence.....just like Chicago.
The man obviously thought, correctly, that his life was in danger and panicked.
Yes it certainly appears that way to me too. One thing I did notice was that all the cops that did the beating were black. Just like the victim.
It’s like a white supremacists smorgasbord. Are the white supremacists rioting yet?
Wonder if the BBC is pronouncing his name like “tire”?
These cops biggest problem is deciding which prison gang join.
I'll bet that didn't help his sense of panic. "If I could just get home, this nightmare might go away..."
I would be uncomfortable driving in Memphis.
It is a good thing that the officers were black, or there would be rioting, looting and arson around the country.
Video “appears” to show. Really????
These cops just as easily could have beaten up an Asian, White, or Hispanic.
The FBI needs to get involved and find out what happened and why. That is, if the FBI can walk away from their ‘lone wolf’ obsession and get back to law enforcement...
Thank God the cops were not white, the cities would all be in flames. Or at least for longer than they will be now.
Anyone know what Tyre did?
>> The FBI needs to get involved
good one ... lol
LOL! Really?
“I’m going to be honest with you about the stop itself. What was said was there was witnessing of what was considered reckless driving,” police chief Cerelyn Davis told CNN on Friday. “We’ve looked at cameras. We’ve looked at body worn cameras. Even if something occurred prior to this stop, we’ve been unable to substantiate it.”
Pole camera video?
And an entire platoon of cops didn’t know about these cameras? How’s that work?
My daughter has been in major cities in the US and Asia, including China and Mongolia, All of SE Asia and in central America.
We stopped for a night & day in Memphis when I was helping her move across the country. She said it was the only city in which she felt truly unsafe. This was in 2010. Said the vibes were awful.
I’ve been to some cities like that and some areas within cities. The vibe makes your skin crawl, and you’re on high alert.
Poor kid thought the police were going to kill him and they did.
