Jan. 27 (UPI) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration Friday proposed loosening restrictions based on gender and sexual orientation for blood donors in the United States.
Under the proposal, current time-based deferrals for men who have sex with men and women who have sex with them would be eliminated and replaced with a "gender-inclusive, individual risk-based" screening to cut the risk of transfusion-transmitted HIV, the FDA said.
All prospective donors would answer a revised questionnaire about new or multiple sex partners in the past three months and a prospective donor who does not report new or multiple sex partners or anal sex within the past three months would be eligible to donate blood.
The FDA said that "implementation of the proposed individual risk-based questions will not compromise the safety or availability of the blood supply."

This is medical insanity motivated by political gay correctness.
Consider this scenario:
Your wife or child whom you both love dearly are injured and must have a transfusion or die. The doc in ER says “I have the O+ blood your loved one needs. Some of the blood is from gays and some of the blood is from straights. I know which is which. Which bag of blood do you want?”
How about segregating vaccinated vs unvaccinated blood?
More government insanity. What could go wrong! /s/

The FDA has fallen flat on their face with the “vaccines” that are known by anyone who has been watching to be unsafe. Who still believes that they have the best interests of the public in mind. They do not! They are a farce and lapdogs to the Biden administration. What else should we expect from them? What a joke!!!
But I have a basal cell carcinoma( superficial skin cancer) and they deny my platelets.

The blood supply is already compromised in so many ways. If you have given blood recently you know they now need about a half-dozen vials of your blood in addition to the donated pint to test for who knows. Is one of those tests for the spike? All I know is they are calling me every week now wanting another donation. Of course, I need about sixty days between donations but they still call me every week. Strange.
Around 10 years ago I became concerned about the lack of sanitary protocols at certain steps in the donation procedure.
At the same time, the FDA approved gay donors under certain circumstances, which I felt made the donation process even more risky for donors.
I stopped donating - without explaining my decision to anyone - because I knew the official response would just criticize me for homophobia.
Ten years later, I am still getting "Critical Need For Your Blood Type" emails, two or three times a year.
Now, the standards are being reduced again.
The FDA and the blood donation leadership are political fanatics.
If they can’t kill you with the Jab, they’ll kill you by poisoning the blood.

I went through the same issue 25 years ago at a major University health center.
I donated platelets (every three weeks?) for a year, had a basal cell skin cancer removed, and they tossed me out of the program.
They were really dismissive, almost rude about it.
Because they make money on your free donation.
Don't think it's not already happening. I donate platelets every other week. They have been asking about COVID vaccination for over a year now.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if they are taking blood from vax-confirmed patients for general use while the "pure blood" is kept aside.

Dang, I thought I was the only one. I declared it before and one day they just slammed me like I was lying, very hostile and told me I’ll never give platelets again. I think I had almost a 100...I had a match.
What gives?
I WILL BET $$$$$$ THAT FUTURE BLOOD DONATIONS WILL NOT EVEN BE MARKED.
The COMPUTER is calling.
