I haven’t read the article, but I bet Biden does it because he’s Awesome.

Assault weapons ban for Americans. If you are in Ukraine, America will gladly give you, at American's expense, all sorts of assault weapons. Isn't wonderful being an American under the thumb of Biden?

Well if they ban “assault weapons” then all the “assault weapons” will disappear.
The same with fentanyl. They banned the possession of recreational fentanyl and, oh wait, never mind.

So the California shooting didn't involve assault rifles, and it's a state that already bans them and is
ranked #1 out of 50 in the country in "gun safety" by the pro-gun control Giffords, yet Joe Biden wants to prey on Americans' ignorance and think he can convince them his federal assault weapons ban will save them every time anything happens anywhere in the country, regardless of the circumstances.

The border is wide open. BLM and Antifa can do as they please. Elections are rigged. The Dollar is losing reserve currency status with a huge chuck of the world. Free speech is suppressed and prisons are being emptied out wholesale. Cartels and drug gangs operate with impunity. And Hollywood, the US Government, Academia and the US military and intel community and FBI speaks of me, a while older male, with the exact same rhetoric used against Jews in the 1930s....
And you think NOW is the time I am giving up my AR-15?
GFY copper.

...I believe virtue signalling is also something to consider....”Look at me...! I’m trying my darndest to ban these assault weapons [whatever they are...] but those damned gun-loving, Constitution-respecting, church-going, family-odriented conservative rednecks just won’t let me....!!”

It’s just the next step toward their goal of total disarmament.

I tried to sign in to MSM but it refused to accept me. I kept getting a run around.
The US public has used semi-auto rifles since 1906.
In the 1960s the news media promised that if handgun bans were enacted, rifles and shotguns would not be affected.
not be affected
not be affected
not be affected.
Like a broken record.
Then in 1984 they came for the rifles.

There’s no such thing as an assault weapon. Congress made that term up years ago.
