So-called "red flag" laws, or extreme risk protection orders (ERPOs), allow law enforcement to temporarily seize guns from individuals believed to be a threat to themselves or others. Nineteen states and Washington, D.C., have already implemented such measures β but more could follow.

Anyone remember the MSM talking points about “Saturday Night Specials” from the 70’s?
Same reason.
Find the right words to convince America to get rid of firearms.
Clearly I must be mentally challenged, or something.
I fail to see why, when we have reason to believe that someone poses a danger to himself or others, that we think taking all of his guns - that we can find - and leaving him free to walk the streets is a good idea.
Do we think he can’t find another gun? That he would pose no risk if he didn’t have a gun?
If he’s a threat, why aren’t we dealing with him, instead of his guns?
1-That America should repent and return to God.
2-That Governments should quit undermining the traditional family.
3-That our Justice system should enforce the laws and restore the consequences for violating them.
4-That schools restore order to the classroom, hold students accountable for their behavior, and dismiss the disrupters.
5-That teachers be accountable for instilling excellence in our students.
6-That parents should instruct their children and hold them accountable.
7-That the government should secure our borders, to protect our citizens, stop the flow of human trafficking, drug trafficking, and influx of criminals.
8-That voters should demand more accountability from our elected leaders.
Red flag laws...temporarily seize guns. Temporary? Good luck ever seeing them again. Many might even find their way to private cop chief collections. And the word “seize” is telling, as it suggests the 4th Amendment, which has absolutely no application in red flag laws.
Or a car, gallons of gas, chainsaws, hammers.
Do ERPOs have an expiration date or even an undo button?
Just one proposal would reduce gun crimes by 99%.
Since liberals are by definition insane, just ban them from having guns. Problem solved.
All of the stupid liberal gun control ideas in one place. Well, maybe not all. There is no limit on stupidity.
Boxes of masks, unlimited unevessary application of ventilators, experimental vaccines, etc...
Some governor’s pens (MI, NY)
“Modest proposals” = Unconstitutional gun grabs
I work in an office environment where "weapons" aren't allowed. I'm looking at my desk. While I don't have a firearm, I do have several "weapons." I have cables to choke or bind with, I have keys and pens/pencils to stab with, I have a stapler (red Swingline, it's mine, no touchy), I have a heavy hole-punch (three hole, not those sissy singles). I have a keyboard, I have a ceramic Covfefe mug, I have picture frames with glass and a coat sleeve to wrap it in. I have a 60" tall walking stick. And there is a medium-sized fire extinguisher within a few steps of my office. It all depends on your mindset what a weapon is.
Without black and hispanic gang and drug crime, America would be as peaceful as rural Nebraska. Guns would be for fun, hunting and collecting as you would have little need for one otherwise.
Guns are not the problem, minority subcultures are.
It’s so nice to see all the comments on MSN and the downvotes. I doubt the author cares, but it should be a wake-up call for the leftist gun grabbers.
