Ukraine's allies have finally agreed to send it advanced tanks, after months of indecision, but now want Ukraine to start fighting differently.
Western officials are suggesting that it adopt a new style of warfare and new tactics that reflect the high-level weaponry it's been given, CNN reported.
This would involve moving away from battles of attrition towards launching rapid attacks against Russian forces.
Three US officials — deputy national security adviser Jon Finer, Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman, and Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl — met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy last week, where they reportedly suggested the change in tactic.
The group said Ukraine should move towards a style of mechanized maneuver warfare that "uses rapid, unanticipated movements against Russia," sources told CNN.

Yep
Vacuum munitions?
I was just watching a youtube vid of an interview of a young kid who went over and jumped in with a nazi unit who said they were dropping white phosphorous on them also
It’s actually to equip the NATO Poland force that will move into the western part of Ukraine to partition it. The East is gone. This is to arm the coming rump state of Ukraine.
It doesnt appear Ukraine is even in it without US support to prolong the carnage and suffering.
maybe the Bidenistas are hoping they can keep goading Russia enough to stop using restraint and commit a mega attrocity (besides the little ones) and try to topple russia by turning the whole world against them (?)
It sort of reminds me of a gang war
Thermobarics.
They have already begun using Combined Arms in some places and instances - they just have not had enough equipment and trained people to apply it across the board, hence the positional fighting and static defenses.
Brigade level training [troop and staff level] is taking place outside of Ukraine. It will not be as difficult as you envision to implement, plus Russia has no counters.
And its a bunch of NATO military people telling them that. Civilians just chimed in.
Deep State won’t be happy until this whole earth is fried to a crispy crunch
WW3
and then they will release the atheists and the nihilists
How do the Ukrainians do that without sufficient air power?
I hope Russia destroys every piece of Nato equipment.
They get some tanks. What happens when the tanks go down? And many will. What next?
So far no amount of weapons has made much difference.
What is the objective, and can it be accomplished?
Lol love it perfect
As the Russians take Bakhmut, the need for tanks arise because lots of open territory where people can move fast lies west of it.
Remember the media told us Bakhmut was no big deal. But it was because it is a Uke hub.
I hope Russia destroys every piece of Nato equipment.
Fair enough but right now NATO equipment is doing a pretty good job of destroying Russian military equipment 10000+ 2000 tanks lots of aircraft and helicopters. Good start
Maybe Russia can have a few more offensive operations with bmp-1s
Logistics was Russia’s Achilles heal, will be interesting to see dozens of once thought safe ammo and POL dumps start exploding from smoking accidents and Russians have to move their logistics hubs 150 km back
Three civilians with zero military experience among the lot of them. Meaningless ciphers and academicians feeding off the Biden trough, giving Zelensky useless advice that could lead to disaster. Just the way it is these days in Washington.
Exactly. “Catch ‘em by surprise”, say the amateurs.
They also want our fighter jets.

After that I imagine they’ll want our B-1s, B-52s, and B-2s for strategic bombing!
[pursue aggressive]
Gee, that was hard to predict.
