It's the same old "victimless crime" argument. Reading that story will make you want to vomit. The poor girls have to service 9 to 21 men every single day and are ridden with all sorts of diseases and infections.
It's probably the same in areas around San Jose and Silicon Valley.
Whatever the intent behind many of his bills, this does seem to be their effect: to make life better for sexual predators. Consider the Wiener-authored SB 145, a 2020 measure that amended the sex-offender registration laws in California, so that an adult having anal or oral sex with a minor could avoid getting placed on the sex-offender registry, as long as the child was at least 14 and the adult was no more than a decade older.
As the writer makes clear, this law protects the adult, not the child.
The agenda is clear. This man, and those like him, must be stopped. By whatever means necessary.

Their idea is sickening: that children are sexual beings as are adults, and that children can consent to sexual activity with adults and that it is good for children to have this freedom.
I haven’t found a good explanation of this, mostly allusions here and there, but I am keeping my eyes open.
Years ago I read a Chick tract that made the argument that what pushed God “over the edge” to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah was the homosexual exploitation/corruption of children.
It sure seems like these idiots are trying to provoke Him again.
