America set a new record last month–and it’s nothing to be proud of. Over 250,000 illegals were encountered at the border in December, the highest number ever recorded. It was the 10th month in a row that illegal encounters had exceeded 200,000. And these figures don’t include the ones who got away from Border Patrol.
This shocking milestone was hardly noticed, even by conservative media. When the news broke Friday evening, it didn’t make the front page of Fox News, Breitbart, Daily Wire, or the Daily Caller. Conservative Twitter ignored the numbers and the issue was soon forgotten. It certainly didn’t register on Capitol Hill, where politicians prepare to battle over the debt ceiling.
Why don't ordinary Americans care about immigration...?

That would be great. Unfortunately, for a century and a half at least, the states are just administrative zones for the federal government. The feds can and will send in troops to keep the states from doing what their people want. The only power the states have is what the feds allow them to have.
Immigration is the main reason Donald Trump got elected. That proves we care. Immigration is being forced on us, anyway. What do you suggest we do about it?
Polls have always showed big majorities oppose illegal immigration.
I was saying that tongue-in-cheek because that’s exactly what Texas and Arizona did and the feds stepped in and said “you cannot do that.”
Biden said he thought it would be good to make “White Americans” a minority. The logic behind this is beyond me, except by flooding our nation with foreigners will make it easier to subjugate the population.

Politicians do what they damn well please and they will do whatever big dollars tell them.

A lot of people are going to be upset when they realize that land doesn’t magically turn people into productive hard working Americans but its the people that create a country’s wealth and wellbeing.

Show me the evidence that Indians, Mexicans, Muslims or any immigrants for that matter embrace Jeffersonian government and I will 100% support immigration legal or otherwise. The evidence does not exist, and America as founded is a dead letter anyway so it doesn’t even matter.

Why would they need to in all 50? We are talking about the border. Only Texas and Arizona would ever matter.
Most Americans want the border closed but the enemedia simply avoids giving them a forum to say so.
