America set a new record last month–and it’s nothing to be proud of. Over 250,000 illegals were encountered at the border in December, the highest number ever recorded. It was the 10th month in a row that illegal encounters had exceeded 200,000. And these figures don’t include the ones who got away from Border Patrol.
This shocking milestone was hardly noticed, even by conservative media. When the news broke Friday evening, it didn’t make the front page of Fox News, Breitbart, Daily Wire, or the Daily Caller. Conservative Twitter ignored the numbers and the issue was soon forgotten. It certainly didn’t register on Capitol Hill, where politicians prepare to battle over the debt ceiling.
Why don't ordinary Americans care about immigration...?

Maybe not, but they do care about illegal immigration and lawlessness.
Americans Love slave labor.
Ask anyone on a southern border state.
People are stupid. They cannot connect their future impoverishment with high levels of immigration today. I can, but most cannot connect future consequences with present actions.
Liberals do, for sure.
One of the arguments that liberals make is how much harder illegals are willing to work for the money.
Let’s say that Americans do care about it a great deal. Let’s say that a wide majority find the current situation completely unacceptable and untenable. How can they act to fix it? Vote? Vote harder? The other side just cheats. There is no way for the majority to even make it’s wishes known in a democracy. Both major parties are just fine with the current mess. It goes on until it crashes.
G-D right I do!!!!
Borders, language, culture. Without them there is no country. We’ve hit no country.
Americans do.
Liberals “heart” Ukraine.
They said before it was at least 4,000,000 and then that number was undercounted by 18,000 percent. WE HAVE LOST OUR COUNTRY.
Maybe the states could step up and do the Constitutional job the federal government refuses to do. Say, build their own wall? Or move shipping containers in to make an ad hoc wall?
Not until they move into their neighborhoods and start destroying them.
The idiots have even given up on their own sense of self-preservation.
If in a lifeboat they would feed all the rations to the fishes. Just give it away.
Stupid.
Even the wishes of the majority doesn’t matter.
As long as Congress continues to shore itself out to the Chamber of Commerce and big business, nothing changes.
Mike Lee has been pushing for a bill to allow more H1B visa holders into thd country so the tech companies in Utah can get cheap labor.
They don’t care.
The only one that did, the only one that did anything about with zero help from Congress, was cheated out of a second term.
I care about illegal immigration. Our communities cannot absorb these numbers, and haven’t been able to absorb them for years.
One thing that burns me is seeing obvious illegals begging for money to help with “food and rent” and shoving their young children in front of the signs. Meanwhile, if they had papers, they could go to most any store and be hired, even if they don’t speak our language. There are openings everywhere.
Not just liberals.
And last year, they report that 400,000 anchor babies were born. Expect that number to be much higher this year.
They’re at it again. The mediapukes are trying to do a snow job on the American people. First, they intentionally avoid covering the border states and now a fake poll. Give me a freaking break!
Americans care about what the government run media outlets feed them. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Why do they call it “arresting” the invaders when all they do is change the invaders kids’ sh*tty diapers and then they take the mob to the welcome wagon to get food, money, housing and tickets to the Super Bowl. sarc/
