Muscovites were braving the threat of arrest to lay flowers at an improvised memorial to victims of a missile attack in Ukraine's central city of Dnipro...

The rare criticism of Russia's nearly year-long military campaign in Ukraine comes on the back of sweeping legislation that all but outlaws speaking out against the fighting.

Officials in Ukraine say at least 46 people were killed by a Russian attack on a residential building in Dnipro...

Flowers and children's toys have already been cleared away several times at the base of a statue in Moscow to Ukrainian poet Lesya Ukrainka but local residents have continued to pay respects.

"How can I express how I feel about this tragedy. I want to express sympathy and offer condolences to the people who are suffering right now," Elena Ivanova...

"There is no other option. This is the only way to protest," the 63-year-old said on Monday, laying flowers and crossing herself at the memorial.

The police monitoring rights group, OVD Info, says that around five people have been detained at the Moscow memorial.

Nearly 20,000 have been detained protesting the conflict since last February, the group says.

Forty-year-old tour guide Alexander Voloshin stood at the monument silently for several minutes, his hat removed.

He said that as soon as he saw pictures of the memorial circulating online he was eager to come to "see with my own eyes that Muscovites sympathise, empathise."

"That there is a memorial dedicated to the victims in Ukraine, Ukrainians and sympathy for them," he said.

"I've got a lot of friends in Ukraine, offline friends, relatives, and friends on the internet," he told AFP.

"And it is very important for them to know that there is sympathy, that there is some kind of protest against the nightmare."

Russia showed restraint and humanity by withholding the American/NATO style of attacking the infrastructure prior to invasion. Today, we are witnessing the resolve of Russia to achieve her initial objectives of Lusance/Donbas Republics coming under their control. The constant shelling of the population by Ukraine’s actual NAZIs must stop forever.

Russia was given a bloody mouth in the first months of the war, as she underestimated the level of entrenchment and buildup Ukraine achieved while “entertaining the Minsk II Agreements” as cover, until Feburary 2022 when enough was enough.

Putin was not given authorization to wage war by his government, but rather 160,000 soldiers for a Special Operation. This proved far too little in the face of the massive US/NATO buildup in Ukraine.

As the One Year Anniversary draws close, Russia must have something with which to call a Victory of sorts. The Russian People understand how strong Ukraine proved to be with foreign intervention. Russia two months had prepared 545,000 troops to relieve the 160,000 in Feburary; today there is another 100,000 added to that number, in addition to 275,000 in Combat Reserve to plug any gaps or to assist with a large breakout of the stagnant front lines.

Russia has also nearly finished training a third Combined Arms Army Group (by end of Summer), and has started the training of a forth Combinded Arms Army Group, both of which will number 500,000 men.

We are seeing that the Russians have fought a war of attrition focused on Ukrainian positions on the front lines. Two or three months ago, Russia began the campaign to weaken Ukraine US/NATO style destroying the electric grid, railways, and heavy fighting utilizing the Waganer Group town to town. This private military group has done the heavy lifting up to or until February’s first anniversary of the Ukraine Conflict.

The Special Operation is going to be finished in Feburary. The preparations the SO has achieve to date will be the foundation of the War. Russia will send close to 700,000 troops against Ukraine and they will collapse. Major fortifications have been encircled and cut off. They will be destroyed and in the Bachmuf area over 50,000 Ukraine soldiers will meet their fate as Zenlensly has continued to order soldiers to hold all ground and fight to the death (Sound familiar to history’s other famous NAZI?).

All the military equipment being sent to Ukraine can only help if Zenlensky is forced to accept the facts on the Ground, and that no NATO missiles the NeoCons and Wokester’s think they can station in Ukraine with US Troops. It is the dumba$$ed Biden Administration wildest wet dreams this could be imposed and Russia broken up completely.

I spent 38 years of my life either in defense or diplomacy for this nation; the last eight years I realized the US is actually a DNC CIA run Military Indistrial Complex, without the actual political component due to illegal tampering of elections.

In other news, the Ukrainian Army is suffering huge casualties while being pushed back by Russian advances. General Winter is coming.

Russians fired a soviet era anti-shipping missile, which is notoriously inaccurate in urban settings.

LOL, restraint and humanity? Look up pictures of Mariupol. As to not attacking infrastructure, delusional Putin thought invading Ukraine was going to be a cakewalk, and that Ukrainians would welcome russian invaders.

LOL. The idea that the Ukrainians were indiscriminately shelling the civilian population in Donbas is pure myth and Russian propaganda. In the meantime, Russia has been openly attacking the civilian population of Ukraine. The number of civilian deaths in Ukraine are orders of magnitude greater than even the false claims that the Russian have made against the Ukrainians.

If you equate laying flowers with being a "demented Forever War nutjob" you might want to lay off the booze/weed, FRiend.
