Progressives? More like regressives. We are regressing into a third world country.

This is not about crime.
This is about digital currency and how we need to switch because it solves so many problems.

“Our apologies. We decide to close several ATM vestibules at 5PM or 6PM, aligning the hours of service to that of the normal branch hours, due to rising crime and vagrancy that occurred in these previously 24/7 vestibules,” Chase Bank’s customer service team wrote in a tweet.WOW, maybe restaurants and bars should also close at 5pm if crime is so rampant

If someone goes in or out of an enclosed ATM at night, for personal banking reasons, the homeless know the space is kept warm and may try to use the space to bed down for the night. That is logical from a homeless point of view, but likely dissuades banking customers, and it is their transactions and business that makes the space worth having to the bank. That in addition to increased maintenance and security costs. Which all makes Chase’ decision logical as well. If all the NYC banks do that, it will push NYC residents into more use of non-Bank 3rd party ATM machines in convenience stores, and other places, which are likely less secure ATM networks as well.

Classic failure of government to do the jobs it is supposed to do in order to justify its existence.

What about the people who need their midnight booze?!
Does Chase thinks about them?

These cities are going to Hell in a handbasket but the voters keep voting for the same idiots who implemented these policies. They need another Rudy Guiliani.
