Bible in a Year:
Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.
“They call me ‘the ringmaster.’ So far this year I’ve found 167 lost rings.”
During a walk on the beach with my wife, Cari, we struck up a conversation with an older man who was using a metal detector to scan an area just below the surf line. “Sometimes rings have names on them,” he explained, “and I love seeing their owners’ faces when I return them. I post online and check to see if anyone contacted lost and found. I’ve found rings missing for years.” When we mentioned that I enjoy metal detecting as well but didn’t do it frequently, his parting words were, “You never know unless you go!”
We find another kind of “search and rescue” in Luke 15. Jesus was criticized for caring about people who were far from God (vv. 1–2). In reply, He told three stories about things that were lost and then found—a sheep, a coin, and a son. The man who finds the lost sheep “joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me’ ” (vv. 5–6). All the stories are ultimately about finding lost people for Christ, and the joy that comes as they’re found in Him.
Jesus came “to seek and to save the lost” (19:10), and He calls us to follow Him in loving people back to God (see Matthew 28:19). The joy of seeing others turn to Him awaits. We’ll never know unless we go.
Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
Good evening, radu...hope you’re getting a break from the rain. Do you think your “drought” is over now?
No snow overnight! I thought I was going to have to work in the office tomorrow. I’ve been fighting with the internet on my home computer for a couple weeks now. And today I never could get connected, even after turning off/on the router. I’ve had a second one in my room (as a booster) for years because the main box comes in at the complete opposite end of the house and we used to have 3 of us on at once.
I finally called the Geek Squad and he had me “reset” the network. No dice. He said someone would have to come and work on it here....ON TUESDAY! I immediately went to my work computer and IT wouldn’t connect. Panic city! I tried a couple more times, and I got into my work programs. Relief!!
I am quite annoyed at the internet right now...at least on my own computer.
One helluva Marine.
Good evening, moovova....he certainly was a true hero.
He was going through the airport in Phoenix and homeland security detained him because when they saw his Medal of Honor, they thought it was a weapon.
The worst part is then, the US Army reservists supplementing homeland security couldn't identify the MOH.
Shame on all of them.

Comment below the video:
“No matter which branch of the armed forces you have family members in or have served with, you can’t help but be proud & moved by what the American military personnel involved here did & just HOW they did it 😌👌 The silence from 6:20 - 7:40 “spoke volumes” in remembering the fallen who have served their country 🌅🕊🌅 “
Thanks for the plane!
Foss was a badass! Thanks Kathy!
Read a little about this guy. It’s worth your time.
"I wasn't upset for me," he said. "I was upset for the Medal of Honor, that they just didn't know what it even was. It represents all of the guys who lost their lives – the guys who never came back. Everyone who put their lives on the line for their country. You're supposed to know what the Medal of Honor is."
Howdy, Kathy.
It’s drizzly-rained off and on all day and there’s one more round of rain moving through the state now. Then we get a break until Tuesday night when another system comes through.
Our drought is over for now and I hope we can keep rain coming throughout the summer this year.
I noticed no snow snuck in on y’all. YAY for that!
Dang, you’re STILL having internet problems? That’s not good. At least you got to your work programs, finally.
I hope they can find the problem and get it working properly again so you won’t have to work from the office.
Good evening, Pro...he was that!!
