A 6-year-old who shot his teacher allegedly told another educator he wanted to light her on fire and watch her die, according to a report.
Last month, the troubled boy nearly made good on his apparent murderous impulses, shooting first grader teacher Abigail Zwerner at Richneck Elementary School in Newport News., Va., officials have said. Zwerner survived.
Zwerner and other Richneck teachers said they had shared their fears about the child’s grave behavior with administrators, only to have their concerns downplayed or ignored, The Washington Post reported.
Zwerner had asked for support with the boy, and expressed concerns about his behavior, teachers wrote in online messages to Newport News Superintendent George Parker III.
Abigail Zwerner was reportedly finally released from the hospital this week. “She had asked for help,” one school staff member wrote in the chat.
“Several times,” another added.
The child, who was known to throw furniture and other objects in the classroom, once wrote a note to a teacher in which he told her hated her, wanted to set her on fire to kill her, the teachers union told The Washington Post. When she brought the disturbing letter to school administrators, they told her to drop it, according to the teacher.

Yeah...that was my immediate thought too. How does a 6yo even know about “setting somebody on fire and watching them die”?
This is learned behavior.
I can't imagine choosing to go along with the kid every minute, as opposed to everyone just agreeing that this was a case screaming for home schooling.
Let me guess.
ADHD
Speech problem
Oppositional Defiant Disorder
so ....
A fat SSI check on the first of every month to pay for the Nikes and sweet scooter.
“once wrote a note to a teacher in which he told her hated her, wanted to set her on fire to kill her”
I am actually impressed by that, if in fact he did write the note. I am not sure I could have done this at 6yo without some help. This situation is really sad. He will likely live a short and violent life.
He draws inspiration from the works of Dr. Seuss.
LOL. I’ve been given quite a few timeouts, so I’m somewhat behaving.
This sounds like the Virginia Tech shooter from years ago. His family said he had been cruel and mean ever since he was young (I think he may have grown up in Korea).
Nature vs nurture. I’d blame nature.
Excitable Boy
Taken outside the gates and stoned.
> That other teacher took the note to the principal who told her to drop it. <
As a public school teacher (now retired) I witnessed many such incidents. It wasn’t so bad in the old days (say before 1995). Back then most school administrators were tough old guys. Many were veterans. They did what they could.
But now the administrators are mostly all woke careerists. Public relations are everything to those guys. We teachers were even told it was a firing offense to talk to the news media or to the city police. Everything had to go through the school district’s PR department.
And that’s where unions comes in, as corrupt and imperfect as they are. Often it’s only the union that will tell the public what’s really going on.
Only A Lad - Oingo Boingo
[Verse 1]
Johnny was bad, even as a child everybody could tell
Everyone said, “If you don’t get straight, you’ll surely go to Hell!”
But Johnny didn’t care
He was an outlaw by the time that he was ten years old
He didn’t wanna do what he was told
Just a prankster - A juvenile gangster
His teachers didn’t understand, they kicked him out of school
At a tender early age just because
He didn’t want to learn things
Had other interests - He liked to burn things
[Verse 2]
The lady down the block
She had a radio that Johnny wanted oh so bad
So he took it the first chance he had
And then he shot her in the leg
But this is what she said
[Chorus]
(He’s only a lad) You really can’t blame him
(Only a lad) Society made him
(Only a lad) He’s our responsibility
Oh, oh, whoa whoa
(Only a lad) He really couldn’t help it
(Only a lad) He didn’t want to do it
(Only a lad) He’s underprivileged and abused
Perhaps a little bit confused
Oh, oh, oh, oh whoa whoa whoa
Whoa whoa whoa
Oh, whoa whoa whoa
[Verse 3]
His parents gave up, they couldn’t influence his attitude
Nobody could help, the little man had no gratitude
And when he stole the car
Nobody dreamed that he would try to take it so far
He didn’t mean to hit the poor man
Who had to go and die
It made the judge cry
[Chorus]
(Only a lad) He really couldn’t help it
(Only a lad) He didn’t want to do it
(Only a lad) He’s underprivileged and abused
Perhaps a little bit confused
Oh, oh, oh, oh whoa whoa
[Bridge]
It’s not his fault that he can’t behave
Society’s made him go astray
Perhaps if we’re nice, he’ll go away
Perhaps he’ll go away, he’ll go away-ay
[Chorus]
(Only a lad) You really can’t blame him
(Only a lad) Society made him
(Only a lad) Is he our responsibility?
[Outro]
Hey there, Johnny, you really don’t fool me
You get away with murder and you think it’s funny
You don’t give a damn if we live or if we die
Oh, oh, oh, oh whoa whoa whoa
Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!
Oh, whoa whoa whoa
Oh, whoa whoa whoa, oh-oh
> Teacher was told to drop it when she asked for help with the student’s tirades of throwing furniture in the classroom and said she had fears for her safety. <
Yep. Take a look at my post #113.
“When she brought the disturbing letter to school administrators, they told her to drop it, according to the teacher.”
Tell her to sue the school board and put me on the jury ... $100 million to her and 10 year jail sentences to all school board members.
MSM Playbook:

The student is white =
Racism
Teacher is white +
Student is black =
Blame guns
“13/52”
Of that 13% black males between 15 - 35 years old do most of the crimes.
“This is a parent problem.
6 year olds don’t learn to talk like that without an unfortunate role model.
(Ref his comment that he wanted to set teacher on fire and watch her die)”
My thoughts as well. A six year old doesn’t pick up language and opinions like that just out of the blue. He has probably listened to ideas like that over and over again.
Definitely a black Swan event...
