You’re right! Waaaaaaaaaaaah. Ahhhh. I feel better already! LOL
I’m glad it’s not cold enough to turn to snow. The rain will be nice for that beautiful winter wheat and whatever comes after it is gone.
Wanna li’l cheese with that whine? LOL
It will get pretty nippy tonight but above freezing and that’s what counts. The wheat and everything else will appreciate the soaking but the poor birds and critters won’t. The wheat is looking real good these days.
Gosh, I can’t believe y’all are a bit warmer than we are. Thank goodness we have almost zero wind or it would feel really cold at 39.
What do they do with the winter wheat there? Harvest it for animal food? I know my uncle used to plant it for his cows to graze on and then plant cotton in the spring.
Good evening, luvie, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Thanks for the hymns.
Good evening, lightman, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
And a blessed Second/Third Sunday after the Epiphany (Western)/Thirtieth Sunday after Pentecost & Sunday of Zaccheus (Orthodox).
Is your stove still pumping out the heat?
Yes, a tad complicated...really important to have a calendar with big squares for notes.
Stove was turned into a “charcoal maker” on Monday morning.
Looks like the next “run” not be until the very end of the month.
Haven’t used the snow removal equipment, yet....
The cloud cover is helping keep the temperature from dropping fast tonight. If the weathergal’s prediction is correct, the temp will only drop another 5 degrees or so before morning. No wind but it’s wet.
Yes, they harvest the wheat in the spring but I don’t know if it goes for livestock feed or somewhere for our foods. The corn and soybeans go for feed though.
Since we had corn last year, I expect Dusty to plant beans this year. I’ll scream if he goes back to cotton.
Well, I’ll be listening, because if he goes with cotton, I’m sure I’ll be able to hear it clear over here. LOL!
Must be nice to have cloud cover. I’d love some cloudy, drizzly days. They soothe my soul.
Guess I’ll finish up this show and head out. My alarm has been lucky so far this week. I’d hate to throw the phone across the room in the morning. See ya tomorrow night! Enjoy the patter of raindrops.
WOW! GLAD I CHECKED BACK!!!
I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT THE JETS ACTUALLY GOT IN THE POST SEASON PLAYOFFS!!!
THAT WAS JUST A JOKE!!!
WELL, SEEING WHAT’S BEEN GOING ON FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS, NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, IS IMPOSSIBLE...BARRING TRUTH AND SANITY.
Last summer they were gone a couple weeks...and finally came back a few at a time.
There’s a power plant north of downtown somewhere that has water that doesn’t freeze, so maybe they have relocated to there for a while. I don’t imagine that water source doesn’t have its predators as well. In the meantime, I’ll just keep checking every evening.
HIGHLIGHTS???
HIGHLIGHTS IN A JETS GAME???
WHAT AN ODD NOTION.
How's everyone doing this morning?
If he goes with cotton again, people across the ocean will be able to hear me scream. LOL I never want that stuff near us again. At least I know the guy who owns the field across the road won’t plant it because he told me he hates it too. Since he had beans last year, I figure he’ll plant corn this year.
It’s too bad you’re stuck living in the desert where you don’t get those cloudy, drizzly days you love. They can be nice but I like them more during spring and summer. This time of year, they make it too chilly for my comfort. LOL
Get to bed so you don’t toss your phone across the room when it goes off in the morning. :-)
I vaguely remember them being gone for a while but didn’t realize it was that long. It isn’t as worrisome that time of year because there are plenty of other places to get food. This time of year, that’s so limited.
I didn’t know about the power plant and its water. Maybe they did go there for a while but that yummy corn should bring them back, with luck. It’ll be nice to know they’re ok.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
How was your outing with Gizmo yesterday? Still enjoying beautiful weather over there?
So many unanswered questions about Benghazi...
Good to see these familiar posts again.
LOL!! 11-6...WHAT A STRANGE FOOTBALL SCORE! A FEW PROBLEMS WITH OFFENSE FOR BOTH TEAMS. ๐คฃ
spot on , I was in libya
Where are the thirty or more survivors of the massacre? What was their mission in Benghazi? A plethora of questions continue to fester in the wake of this debacle โ questions that remain unanswered.
