FIRST ON FOX: A Los Angeles 17-year-old who ran over a mother walking her baby in a stroller in 2021 and received just a few months of diversionary camp as punishment was gunned down in Palmdale, California, this week.

Kristopher Baca, whom Fox News Digital has previously not identified due to his youth, pleaded guilty to the hit-and-run last year.

Deputies found him dead with gunshot wounds in a Palmdale driveway on the 83600 block of 11th Street East on Wednesday evening, according to the sheriff's office.

Sources close to the investigation said he had been at a fast food restaurant earlier trying to "get with a girl."

As he walked home alone, a car pulled up next to him and an argument broke out. Someone in the vehicle opened fire, then sped off.

Value....

I think (not sure) it was a Darren McGavin Mike Hammer episode (1958-1959) where a police detective standing over a criminal’s body just discovered said to Mike: “Somebody somewhere thought it was worth spending 6 cents for a bullet to kill this jerk.”

Inflation....

There was this guy who was let out of Joliet prison after serving fifteen years. He was gunned down while waiting for a bus right outside the prison just as he was released.

Defund the police. Install woke prosecutors. Get street justice.

It’s actually more effective.

In many cases we are in possession of knowledge kept from the jurors.

I completely agree, I have been on juries are they just spoon feed you what they want you to know. You can't ask questions like you can in a grand jury. You are siting there deliberating in the jury room knowing that you don't have anywhere near all the information and they want you to make a decision.

Say you are siting on a jury for a rape case. The perp has been convicted in 5 other rape cases but you will never know about it because it "could" be "predigital" to the defendant.

Well hell yes it is, perhaps he should have thought about it before he raped his 6th victim. It is a fundamental element of the case because in shows intent.

Judges who oversee such cases see all the evidence and can make an informed decision. Juries can't.

Alibis are funny things. Cops don’t like them.

I was fired on a Friday. Hurricane Wilma hit on Monday. Sixteen days later, after restoring power to my house, the resulting fire destroyed everything we owned. A total loss.

I was literally at choir practice with my father at the time of the fire. My wife was with my mother. No one was home. Our dog nearly died in the fire. The police questioned me multiple times about my whereabouts at the time of the fire, the hours leading up to the fire, the day before the fire, etc. They were convinced that it must have been arson since we were in debt (not a lot, but enough) and I had just been fired and then our house burned down. The airtight alibi drove them nuts. It was airtight because it was true. We had nothing to do with it. Faulty wiring and old appliances subjected to a power surge caused the fire.

A year later we went back to Florida for my dad’s memorial service. A couple of the guys in the choir mentioned that they had been approached by detectives MONTHS after the fire to see if they remembered us being at choir practice that night. The cops just wouldn’t let it go.

Maybe I should have just run down a woman and her baby...

One hopes husband/father, but... “he had been at a fast food restaurant earlier trying to ‘get with a girl’.” I bet someone was displeased.

The trust was lost with the failure of the justice system, not with the onset of vigilantism.

I stand against the system of pseudo justice.

It's always been a smoke and mirrors system subject to manipulation, designed by lawyers for the full employment of lawyers.

If it seems like everything is going off the rails at once, it's only because your perception has been heightened.

Everything has always been broken except in popular perception.

Recently our perception has heightened and now we see the patchwork of lies behind almost everything.

This revealing of gritty reality is the Apocalypse.

Congratulations, you are living at that lucky time!

Yes, its the descent into mafias, blackmail and economic chaos. Thats why third world economies can never get a headstart, there is no order or predictably, therefore investing capitol doesn’t make sense.

Very sad seeing one more sign of our countries descent into rubble.

It is justice and it was served. That is the “proper” way.
