Amen brother! When I was young I wanted so hard to be a rock star. Even used to pray about it. Little did I know the Lord saved me from a fate similar to the one you describe. When I think about it, I thank Him for a prayer not granted.

No kidding. I just turned 71; he turned 79 a month ago. So it's possible that he'll outlive me.

But while I would hate to see him go, it will be a notable day on the internet, and in music scenes everywhere.

Rod is still kicking it at Caesars Palace. (Not a bad seat in the house.) Great show and some of the best musicians in the world.

We traveled to LV just to see him and it was worth every penny. The Grand Canyon was his opening act.:^)
