Kari Lake's Chances of Beating Kyrsten Sinema in Arizona, According to Poll
Newsweek ^ | 1/17/23

Kari Lake, the Republican who lost the Arizona governor's race this past November, could beat both potential competitors Ruben Gallego and Kyrsten Sinema were she to run in 2024 for the latter's Senate seat, according to a recent poll.

The survey, released January 11 by website Blueprint Polling, imagined a scenario in which Sinema, a former Democrat turned independent who's held her Senate seat since 2019, runs for reelection against Lake and Gallego, a Democrat who represents the state's 3rd Congressional District.

Lake, who rumors say is considering running for the seat but has not confirmed this, polled at 36 percent, according to Blueprint, well ahead of the two rivals. Gallego trailed closely with 32 percent, while Sinema ran a distant third with 14 percent...

One in six voters polled by Blueprint was undecided about whom to vote for in a race involving the three candidates. This indecision could help Sinema hold on to her seat, according to the polling website.

The survey also found that the senator, who left the Democratic Party last month, currently gathers support from both Republicans and Democrats.

Her best chance to be reelected in 2024, according to Blueprint, "may be for the Republican party to nominate a candidate so flawed that moderate and conservative voters would abandon that person for the Independent Sinema."

Polls mean nothing when the system is crooked. Until honest governors fix the voting practices in their states, this country is screwed with a single party system like Venezuela and the rest of the third world.

Kari Lake will win an Arizona US Senate seat when Obamas fly out my butt.

They do that every day with mine.

With millions of new leftist Gen-Z voters flooding the electorate, any poll that shows anything less than a D+6 sampling is a joke.

Until AZ cleans up Maricopa county voting shenanigans, the GOP won’t win any big races there.

I do not think Lake can beat Sinema if she runs as a Republican. After visiting Phoenix over the weekend and talking to family and friends, the Republican brand seems to be pretty tarnished.

Nonexistent unless the election fraud is dealt with.

Kari Lake’s chances of beating Kristen Sinema = Zero.

Don’t come around here on November 6, 2024 complaining about fraud or such. I was the first here to post congratulations to Senator Fetterman the day after the PA Republican primary in 2022 nominated that idiot Oz, I was the only one to predict D +40 in the 2018 House races.

Kristen Sinema will be Senator for Life until she gets bored or is the next VP.

I remind everyone that Kari Lake was leading in the polls over Katie Hobbs just a week before the 2022 midterm elections ( one by 10 points even ). Then we had the Maricopa voting machine disaster on Election Day. You know the rest of the story.

Kari Lake was leading in the polls and then, in the 11th hour, she went and did a campaign event with Steve Bannon and trash-talked McCain voters.

This was beyond stupid.

She had Trump's MAGA base in her back pocket. All she needed to do was close the deal with Arizona's swing voters and the more moderate McCain wing. Instead, she reminded them that she's just too "Trumpy" and lost their votes to Hobbs.

Hopefully she's learned her lesson and might succeed in a 3-way Senate race. This would require her to drop her quixotic crusade to overturn the election.

Shame, too. I wanted Lake to win.

Arizona government has been assimilated by the deepstate federal government. It’s lost, will never be the same again. The courts will assure that.

So you honestly believe that there was no hanky panky in the Arizona 2022 midterms and most Arizona voters really, fairly voted for Hobbs over Lake because they hate Trump?

If so, then your prescription is for any Republican who wants to win to distance himself from Trump and Trump’s MAGA is totally damaged goods.

Did I read you right?

Well, maybe the voters realize how bad Dems are now that they are going to defund their acclaimed and popular school choice programs.

Youngkin, Kemp, and DeSantis were all able to retain Trump’s MAGA base, keep Trump at a distance, and win their elections.
