“The findings were “particularly concerning due to the impact on disadvantaged communities that consume fish as a source protein or for social or cultural reasons,” he added.”

Yawn.

If these chemicals are so indestructible, that means they’re pretty non-reactive, so how toxic can they be?

Doesn’t seem to hurt the fish so there’s that...

I will still stand in the water and pan fry my fresh caught trout. My homage to Patrick McManus.

the non-profit Environmental Working Group, which should be tarred and feathered and thrown in the nearest body of water.

Not a big fish fan (canned salmon and canned tuna being exceptions), though a fresh salmon steak is A-OK with me, I prefer fish to the BUGS the ‘elites’ suggest we eat. That bunch, Bill-zebub Gates, Schwartz György, K(louse) Squab, etc., can all FOAD!

I’m sure they’ll now need 10x funding to see just how widespread this ‘problem’ is.

Oh yeah, this. They’re trying to get a payout from corporations. I have a friend who blames this chemical for her fathers death. He worked at a plant that made non-stick cookware. The poor guy only lived ‘til he was 91.

I suggested that her father lived so long because of the chemical...she’d never thought of that.

Yes, this is all true.

So all you proles stop eating fish, which is good for you, and instead go for that nice bucket of fried crickets.

Wow, between cow farts that cause global warming, mysterious avian flu, and now poisonous fish, what’s left to eat?

*crickets*

People have been told to limit their consumption of Great Lakes fish, especially apex predators such as lake trout and muskies, since the late 70s.

I’ll stick with American fish, where possible. I am more afraid of farmed fish from China than wild caught American.

Eating one freshwater fish caught in a river or lake in the United States is the equivalent of drinking a month's worth of water contaminated with toxic "forever chemicals," new research said on Tuesday.

Is a month's worth of water contaminated with toxic "forever chemicals" actually harmful to human health? At what level do these toxic chemicals actually become toxic? Can I consume multiple years worth of this water without suffering any harmful effects?

Answer these questions and maybe I'll care.

If this is the case, I would rather see the government focus on cleaning up polluted rivers, local waterways and air instead of the climate alarmist bs.

I will only eat Wild. Stay away from anything from Vietnam. Their farmed raised catfish is called Swai here in the US. I call it Morton Thiokol, but I digress.

How about all of the estrogen that has been dumped into the water supply via wide spread use of birth-control pills?
