Ukraine claimed that Russia has lost close to 117,000 troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion last February — which is more servicemen than the US lost during World War I.
There have been 116,950 enemy troops “eliminated” since Feb. 24, according to the latest tallies released by Ukraine’s Armed Forces Tuesday, which The Post could not independently verify.
Kyiv reported that in the last 24 hours alone, 870 Russians had been killed in Ukraine.
For comparison, the US lost 116,516 soldiers during World War I, of whom more than 63,000 suffered non-combat deaths mostly related to illnesses.

The Russia forces put out ads for truck drivers. The offer was $100 per ton of corpses shipped home from the front.
When you are paying for bodies by the ton you know you have a lot of them.
Unverified accounts of Ukrainian 'heroism' and Russian losses are often the norm for the content about the war posted on FR by those 'dedicated' to pushing the Ukrainian 'narrative'. In fact, a 'Ukrainian pilot' is often quoted authoritatively, refuting all other sources of information.
Since there's so little interest in verifiable sources, you'd think the fact that the Ukraine has lost more soldiers than the Russians, according to Colonel MacGregor (retired) would have equal footing with completely unsourced information distributed from the Ukrainian military. But nah, there's always snark and sneering and attacks on any information that doesn't boost the Deep State's proxy war funded with US dollars in the Ukraine.
Next week they’ll claim more than the 20 Million troops they lost in WW2*.
*Back then the Russians weren’t fighting a bunch of Leftist airheads trying to understand the toys they inherited from real men.
Notice how we never hear of anyone on Uke side dying except for an occasional propaganda piece about a civilian being hit?
They only put out negative news about Russians. LOL
I might be more sympathetic if they would cut out the lying and exaggerations.

Sickens me that Ukraiains got suckered into this war big time by Zelensky and his creeps....believing they’re fighting for their land - which has nothing to do with what is happening there between US/Nato vs. Russia...and was that from the beginning.
I hate Zelensky....I truly do. And as Much Obama and Biden for this war ....an neither of the three is paying anything for having suckered the Ukrainian people. But their soldiers are understanding the truth little by little that they are being used.

It used to be when you called out something as propaganda, you would cite the truth from another, presumably more reliable, source. Not anymore.
I dont know that the numbers are what this article cites, especially since journalism is mostly a dead art. But by the standard of many here, everything can be called propaganda.
Certainly russian losses have been high. Certainly Ukrainian losses have been high. There are no winners here, just survivors or defeated. The cheerleading is juvenile.
So how about adding a little more meat to your post.
Well, Russia has been REDUCED to long-distance war with rockets and drones, which means that, they no longer have enough troops to do the ground fighting and for retention of that ground they gain.
Either not enough troops or the troops they do have are unwilling to fight for a cause they don’t believe in.
In any case, the war is one that Russia cannot win and will not win.
Lets look at this a different way...

“Claims”? Seriously?? Even if it was somewhat accurate, so what? Completely irrelevant to anything.
