A judge ruled on Friday that several former Twitter employees who had filed a class action lawsuit against the social media giant must pursue individual arbitration instead.

The case involved five former Twitter employees involved in a class action against Twitter for not being given adequate notice before being laid off.

U.S. District judge James Donato ruled that the five former employees must pursue individual arbitration because of the arbitration agreement they had signed with Twitter.

These employees signed an arbitration agreement with Twitter. I agree with the judge.

“HA-HA!”

______

That was my thought as well!

They really thought they “had” Musk and he would have to fold to their demands, pay out, and also allow them the media attention they thought they deserved. They probably had their CNN appearance dress all picked out, and were hoping Elizabeth Warren would invite them to the State of the [failing]Union address.

“Not under my watch”, said the judge!

Ha Ha! indeed!

After they collaborated with the government to dupe the public, the public has no right to justice?

Twitter entered a purchase agreement in 2020 with Private Jet Services Group, and several employees used the private air charter services in 2022

April 29 – Over a three-day period after Musk and Twitter reach a deal, and he sells about $8.5 billion worth in Tesla stock to help finance the bid.

Was the use of services approved by Musk? Was the use of services before the sale? What were the term of the contract of sale, regarding to current agreements?

I'm not an attorney. Whether Elon Musk owes for their services will depend upon the terms of the purchase.

Lisa Bloom, Gloria Allred’s daughter, is crying big tears. She likes to see employee discord and drive the issue toward litigation, without telling employees all they need to know. As soon as Musk bought Twitter, she was on Twitter soliciting clients.

IIRC-—a person should get a certain amount of notice or compensation in lieu of notice.

Musk fired a number of Calif employees of Twitter.

Calif requires 60 days notice if company has a high number of employees.

Musk ordered them to NOT shoe up for work-—and he said he would pay them () days notice-—in lieu of actually working.

Seems they got a beneficial deal VS the legal deals Calif forces onto businesses in that state.

Thank you for the explanation.

Musk is a no BS sort of guy.

And he has a pair.
