The dynamics of bankruptcies of citizens through the court last year slowed down to 44%: in 2021, the growth in their number was 62%, in 2020 - 73%. The consumer bankruptcy procedure has been in force since October 2015, since that moment more than 753 thousand debtors have been declared insolvent.
The number of corporate bankruptcies in 2022 decreased by 12.2% (total for the year 9055) compared to 2021, the number of observations decreased by 39% (5227), and the number of notifications of the intention to initiate insolvency proceedings - by 35.9% (20244).
Among the regions in terms of the number of bankrupt companies, the leaders are: Moscow (1969; -7.5% by 2021), Moscow Region (759; -4.3%), St. Petersburg (699; -12.7%), Krasnodar Territory ( 314; -0.3%), Sverdlovsk region (241; -29.9%) .
As 66.RU previously reported , declaring yourself bankrupt will ruin the debtor's credit history. Information about this event will be publicly available on the website of the Unified Federal Register of Bankruptcy Information for five years.
