Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Friday on FNC’s “The Story” that the United States giving Ukraine weapon systems to fight off Russia’s invasion was “just common decency.”
Anchor Martha MacCallum asked, “A lot of people say Putin’s army is nowhere near what everybody thought it was. He is going to lose this. Why are we spending all of this time and money on Ukraine? This is the argument some of them put forth. When we have other concerns here at home and other places in the world? What do you say to them, Dr. Rice?”

Her statement “Well, in 2001, the fight came home to us” is not true. It was a tragedy but not a military invasion.
It was three hijacked airplanes and the single attack lasted only minutes. Our nearest thing to an invasion is happening on our southern border.
911 happened because no one thought that hijackers would crash their hijacked planes and kill themselves. The simple solution has been to install strong doors leading into the pilot’s area.
Funneling billions with no accountability to a a corrupt country is just “Common Laundering” she meant to say

It probably wasn’t “our fight” in 1914, and Wilson did a lot of scurvy things. “He kept Us Out of War” was his re-election slogan. There arguably wouldn’t have been a 1941 (or a 2001). We’re still paying dearly over a 100 years later.
She said something during a live television interview once that was interesting.
“Nobody ever thought people would fly airliners into buildings, who could have seen that coming?”
Now that is just pure BS, she can’t possibly be that stupid. I knew .mil people who worked in the area prior to 2001 and that was one their absolute security concerns, that somebody would hijack an airliner and fly it into the Capitol or whatever. This was probably an open secret.
Why would she say something like that?
