Attorney General Merrick Garland announced Thursday he had appointed a special counsel to investigate how classified documents ended up at an office President Biden used at his namesake think tank in Washington, DC, and his home in Delaware.
Republicans called on Garland to name a special counsel to examine whether the Obama-era documents were mishandled by Biden following revelations this week that a box containing classified documents were discovered in a locked closet in an office the president used at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement on Nov. 2, just days before the midterm elections.
Then on Thursday, Biden, 80, confirmed reports that emerged Wednesday that more classified records were found in his Delaware home where he stores his prized Corvette.
“I also said we’re cooperating fully and completely with the Justice Department’s review. As part of that process, my lawyers reviewed other places where documents might — from my time as vice president — were stored and they finished the review last night. They discovered a small number of documents with classified markings in storage areas and file cabinets in my home and my personal library,” Biden told reporters on Thursday.
Garland had previously tapped the US Attorney in Chicago, John Lausch, to review the classified documents found at the Penn Biden Center.
In November, Garland named veteran prosecutor Jack Smith as special counsel to determine whether former President Donald Trump should face charges after classified documents recovered at his Florida resort in August.

Also we’re almost to the date where Kamala can take over as president and still qualify to serve two full additional terms. I have my doubts they want her as a puppet for that long, but Biden’s mental condition is continually deteriorating and the DNC may be looking to remove Biden before re-election campaign kicks off.
We need to know:
1) All visitors to Delaware as all might have access to top secret documents.
2) All the “secret” donations of tens of millions to Biden’s think tank by unnamed Chinese accounts.

Would they be willing to throw Biden down if it means getting rid of Trump once and for all? I think they will.
By the time the next election comes around Biden will be unelectable after all the scandals are exposed. The Dems don't want him to run anyway. Its all about getting Trump.

Robert Hur, the former Trump-appointed U.S. attorney in Maryland, will lead the investigation, taking over from the top Justice Department prosecutor in Chicago, John Lausch, who was earlier assigned by the department to investigate the matter and who recommended to Garland last week that a special counsel be appointed. Hur is to begin his work soon.
“The extraordinary circumstances here require the appointment of a special counsel for this matter,” Garland said, adding that Hur is authorized to investigate whether any person or entity violated the law.
Is this the beginning of the leftists purging Biden?
Well, it certainly raises questions about the competency of the folks at the National Archives.
According to all the stories, no one even knew that these documents were missing.
But they sure did know when it was our guy. So, if not their competency, then certainly which team they’re playing for.
