They are trying to do the same in Chicago with new construction. Electric only.

Resistive heating is the least efficient. This is purposeful destruction of the US and greater control over people and resources.

Kathy Hochul just proposed a ban in New York, what marxist socialist radical environmental manual do they all read from?

Oh good. Everything runs on electricity.
What could possibly go wrong?
EMP? Fuggetabboutit (I probably spelled that incorrectly).

ban electric teakettles that were a staple of British kitchens, because they used too much electricity. Yet here they want to ban gas stoves and go electric stoves...... plus heat pumps, etc..... 🤪

It was that idiot Corey Booker’s (D-NJ) idea. Biden is too stupid to even think of this crap.
To: ChicagoConservative27
Yep, they are doing the “No new gas hookups” all over the country. In 30 or 40 years, they will have effectively banned all natural gas.
But, no, they weren’t satisfied having to wait. They want tyranny and they want it now. RAM IT DOWN the deplorable’s throats.

When people see the government reach into their homes and change things it gets concrete for them. Most people do not think abstractly. The do not foresee second and third order consequences.

BUT STILL the vast majority of Americans just won’t say NO! to big government. Who said “you always get the government the majority votes for”? Until the vast majority becomes focused on saying NO!, the beatings will continue. Not pretty but pretty simple

Ain’t that the truth. What kind of person gets up every day to mimic the idiotic/evil talking points of some demonic puppet master only to believe they, themselves are the righteous ones?

Induction cooking is the most energy efficient type, but gas is the most versatile.

The glaring advantage of gas over electric cooking is the ability to easily sear food. This is how I deal with that problem:

Every restaurant in the developed world uses gas stoves. Much more efficient and controllable heat. I used to be a cook in a restaurant and I cannot imagine all restaurants switching to electric stoves. It’s just not gonna happen. For one thing to switch over would cost fortunes, many fortunes and it would also increase the electric and heating bills of every restaurant in America. I guess they are trying to get rid of restaurants on top of everything else.

"Induction cooking is the most energy efficient type, but gas is the most versatile." And a gas stove will keep you from freezing to death when a sleet-storm downs miles of transmission lines. Even if the stove has electronic burner ignition you can light it with an old-fashioned match.

The use of fire has been one of the defining characteristics of mankind for something like 200,000 years.
It’s only natural that the gay marriage proponents would now promote a ban on fire.
