Will this mean the money laundering will stop...?

Depends on which side the War is decided for, and how one sided the decision is.

“Any/Every nuclear power would use their nukes before allowing their army to be defeated in the field.”

Oh, like we nuked Vietnam?

“This is a game we should not be playing.”

I see. So Russia and China can gobble up whatever territory they want, and if we object, they just say “NUKES!” and we back down. Until they come for our own territory, of course.

Sound plan. Can’t see a flaw in it.

You must be one of those Neocons who want us to be the World’s policeman and go to war against every country that misbehaves.

It’s a thankless job.

Nope, I’ve never advocated that.

I’ve also never advocated that we should just let scumbags take whatever they want because they say the word “nuke” though.

I expect Ukraine to be totally devastated by the war whether they win or lose.

+1

And if they attain their “best case scenario” and seem to win the war, they will get nuked. And then maybe Russia gets nuked. And then maybe we get nuked.

+1

There are no good sides to this conflict.

+1

There are no good outcomes.

This is a game we should not be playing.

No, of course not.

It means the US needs to soberly assess the potential consequences of militarily defeating Russia in their own backyard.

Is Ukraine worth the potential cost?

No, of course not.

“That’s nonsense. They do have the option of going back to Russia and living there in peace, and that’s what they would do.”

What, specifically is nonsense?

“Oh, like we nuked Vietnam?”

You show your abject ignorance.

The US was not defeated militarily in the field.

“So Russia and China can gobble up whatever territory they want, and if we object, they just say “NUKES!” and we back down.”

Only the countries where we have no essential interests.

Like Ukraine.

“Will this mean the money laundering will stop...?”

No. Money laundering for American politicians will survive a nuclear war, like cockroaches.

Oh, cool, so we’d only like hand 90% of the planet over to our enemies on a platter. That’s just fine then.

“Any/Every nuclear power would use their nukes before allowing their army to be defeated in the field.”

I think it depends on where “the field” is. If it is in another country, I think the chances of using a nuke are remote, as such a defeat would generally not be an existential threat to the homeland. However, if “the field” is at home, then the chances for employing a nuke increase significantly.

“Russians see this as an existential threat.”

But it’s not. Ukraine neither posed nor poses an existential threat to Russia.

“DC deliberately pushed for, organized, created, and wanted this war. They even openly state their final goal is the destabilize Russia, install a western puppet and break it up into numerous republics. They are on the record saying that.”

If what you claim is true, then that would be an official US policy. Do you have a link to that effect? Some talking head media “expert” opining such is not official US policy.

“Putin had two choices, let the Uke nazi formations launch the spring offensive against the Donbass they had been prepping for and wind up with a NATO/Azov Ukraine on their border..... or intervene.”

But NATO is already on Russia’s border. If what you claim is true, why didn’t Russia invade Poland? Or Latvia? Or Lithuania? Or Estonia? Or Norway? All five of those NATO countries have a border with Russia.

Russia wants the strategic areas of Ukraine for itself, and that is why Russia invaded...first in 2014 and then in 2022.

Yes. Recently Angela Merkel admitted the signing of the Minsk Agreements 1 and 2 with Russia were just a stalling tactic to buy time to build up the Ukrainian military.

The U.S. and NATO (but, I repeat myself) want this war with Russia and worked tirelessly to bring it on.

When you deceive an enemy who foolishly trusted negotiations with you, he is likely to never stop until he crushes you completely.

Ukraine cannot win this war. Russia will overwhelm Ukraine and the West cannot stop what is about to happen.

The only revenue keeping Ukraine afloat now is coming from U.S. taxpayers. The Ukraine economy is in shambles and the country is mostly in the dark.

If America had sane leadership, it would pull out all the stops to end the invasion of the USA on our own southern border. Ukraine is none of America’s business. It is only of interest to the crooked American politicians who have been raking in the laundered money from Ukraine for many years.
