according to The Express:
“Hundreds of flights across the United States remain grounded after The Federal Aviation Administration suffered a catastrophic system error sparking travel chaos for thousands of passengers. An issue with the NOTAMS safety alert system was first reported on January 10 sparking widespread problems across the US and abroad. Technicians from the Air Traffic Control System Command Center are working flat out to fix the problem but warned passengers to buckle up for long delays. A message on their website warned passengers: “The NOTAMS outage continues with no current estimated time of restoration. A hotline has been activated.”

United Airlines, Arlington Heights, IL About 1985?
A plumbing leak in their underground operations center shut down a central computer that recorded maintenance data from all UAL planes.
ALL PLANES ON THE GROUND REMAINED, ALL IN FLIGHT TO REMAIN AT THEIR DESTINATION.
It took hours to re-boot the computer, a huge event and they had a dollars per minute cost on it; MEGA$$$

Do people really think we are going to arm the Ukrainians with bleeding edge weapons like the HIMARS system and not expect some form of retaliation from quasi-government hackers that they can claim complete deniability from?

When is our eloquent secretary of transportation going to criticize the FAA like he did Southwest Airlines?
Was last week’s Southwest Airlines’ computer glitch a trial run for the FAA software glitch?
