Bed Bath & Beyond on Tuesday posted wider quarterly losses than expected as its chief executive acknowledged the struggling retailer’s turnaround plan had not achieved its goals.
Days after the company warned of potential bankruptcy, it painted an even more dire picture of its finances. Bed Bath lost $393 million during the fiscal third quarter, it said Tuesday, worse even than the $385.8 million quarterly loss it projected just last week and a 42% increase from year-ago losses.
Bed Bath’s net losses have now exceeded $1.12 billion for the first nine months of the fiscal year.

Get Mike Lindell on the phone.
Piss off 86 million voters and you go out of business.
I will bet good money that they backed Biden to the hilt. Embrace the suck BB&B!
But they’re not selling pillows from that election denier guy any more, so I’m sure they’re fine with the bankruptcy part.
What role My Pillow played in this maybe be miniscule, but that woke decision maker exhibited faulty logic in this case and perhaps many others.
I have plastic bags.
I suggest B,B &B just fill them with money and I’ll haul them away and put them to better use.
Target needs to circle the bowl also.
Ours is empty of customers most of the time.
They ought to try selling stuff people actually want to buy, at a cost they can afford.........................
BB&B was one the way out long before the My Pillow debacle. I will say the latter was a further stomping on the accelerator.
Yep. I don’t know that there’s much BB&B has that I can’t find cheaper at Walmart.....AND I can do self checkout.
It has been virtually impossible to communicate with their corporate offices. They have an automated bot system on their website with a string of irrelevant questions. When one leaves an email address, etc, nobody ever gets back with you. I think there are millions like me who would have resumed shopping with Bed Bath and Beyond, had they simply sent out a media release apologizing for overstepping the bounds of what a corporation should be doing when it thinks it’s serving the whole population, not just those who are carbon copies of the wife who inherited the company. They hired a high power middle-aged family-man, Hispanic business school guy to try to reverse their corporate plummeting. It was not long before he so very tragically wound up somehow defenestrated from a high rise building -window in Manhattan. The management remained remote from the public and they still keep sending out those 20% off coupons, as if nothing changed for them. I used to like shopping there, but have not a single item since they decided to use their corporation as a perceived weapon against the true patriot, Mike Lindell.
I liked their Bed and Beyond parts. Their Bath part, not so much.
I was just in one of their DC area stores this week.
NO customer’s in the store, shelves bare.
They are DEFINETLY going under by way of Circuit City, Sears, KMart, Montgomery Wards, Blockbuster.....
Hello, Mike? Have I got a deal for you!
That’s a shame.
The pet store had more people in it!...................
If you make business decisions for political reasons, don’t be surprised if your customers abandon you for their own political reasons.
I remember Bed Bath & Beyond.
Bed Bath & Bankruptcy LOL
