The sex-trafficking case against Andrew Tate is “basically built on lies,” according to two women who say they’re being treated as accusers despite repeatedly stating that they are “not victims.”
The official Twitter handle of the still-jailed influencer was among those sharing an interview of two of the women listed as victims of what Romanian investigators have called a violent organized gang.
“This is very unfair. They don’t deserve it,” said one of the women, neither of whom was named in the clip he shared but who described them both as social media influencers.
“I don’t understand … the prosecutors [said] we’re victims in this case, when we obviously declared we are not the victims,” she said.
“So this case is basically built on lies,” she said, asking: “How can I trust the Romanian authorities?”
The interview on Urmeaza appeared to show the duo, one with blond and the other with dark hair.

He must be a very important person. He’s a “social media influencer.”
This has something to do with Romania.
This is poor journalism.
Until they reveal the Epstein client list, every similar arrest is politically motivated.

Ha! I thought it was Rome, NY.
I wondered that too when I first heard of him a few months ago.
The short and not very definitive answer seems to be that he’s a MMA champ who has put forth a lot of very un-Woke ideas, which have resonated with a lot of young people. Especially young men.
He has thus been deemed an Enemy of the State in Europe for being so blatantly un-Woke. Which seems to have led to this situation.
The guy seems pretty obnoxious in many ways. Not my cup of tea at all. And the Woke are worse.
Because he is visibly and vocally fighting back against wokeness and modern feminism with sound reasoning and common sense. When he gets on a rant about it he’s very articulate and hard to dispute. One of the things he does that is both amusing and enlightening to people who may not think in these terms is what is referred to these days as slut shaming. If he has someone on a podcast or video show and they are talking about the number of partners they have had, he calls them out as being a slut or a member of a haram instead of keeping themselves pure for their future spouse. It can be pretty crass, but it’s also a realistic way to classify those people in that younger people these days just have sex with whomever without thought for the consequences (a la tinder), and here is this popular influencer on social media that is calling it out as immoral behavior (although my guess is that he loves to take advantage of it at the same time. weird hypocrisy, but he won’t consider a woman wife-material unless she is “pure”)
as far as being leftist- i’ve not heard him say anything espousing leftist crap, but i haven’t really paid attention to everything he says\does. He may be. My wife has listened to some of his rants and says he’s a dick but he is also right for the most part.
He’s not a liberal, just more of an ass. He does say certain things that are true and he was banned for it.

Those intentionally falsely accused of horrible crime deserve to be defended. If they have ime stupid political opinions they still deserve it.
