I've seen it written...and I'm strongly inclined to believe it...that Priority #1 at Rat Party Headquarters is to flip Texas. If they do that there will never be another Republican President...and probably never another Republican Speaker or Senate Majority Leader.
Given that fact The Big Guy wouldn't in a million years listen to anything Abbott had to say.
