Hollywood’s “old boys club is dead,” writes the Free Press. “But a new one—with its own litmus tests and landmines—is rapidly replacing it. ‘This is all going to end in a giant class-action’.”
The outlet spoke to “more than 25 writers, directors, and producers—all of whom identify as liberal, and all described a pervasive fear of running afoul of the new [woke]dogma.”
“Best way to defend yourself against the woke is to out-woke everyone, including the woke,” one writer told the Free Press, which would go a long way towards explaining the self-humiliation Stephen King and Rob Reiner engage in daily by way of Twitter.
How do you out-woke the woke? Easy. “Suddenly, every conversation with every agent or head of content started with: Is anyone BIPOC attached to this?”
For those who don’t know, “BIPOC” stands for something-something people of color.

Wasn’t the Top Gun movie one of the biggest movies of the year? I did not see it , but I heard lots of good reviews and that there was no politically correct nonsense in that movie.

A few years back (in 2008), stupidity at Universal Studios allowed a fire to spread through their record "vaults," which is a funny word for them, since they seem to have been made of fiberboard.
The fire — which took 24 hours to fully extinguish — wiped out hundreds of thousands of master tapes, films, and digitized film masters. The work of numerous very well-known artists, both film and voice, were destroyed.

To accept that, you would have to assume that these companies are purely free-market entities, in a world of open and competing ideas, totally free of government and politics, and whose managers are just misguided about what the public wants.
Last movie I saw in the theater was “Expendables.” Not very woke.

An acquaintance of mine from High School became a successful comedy writer in Hollywood. He was talented and leaned right in the 80s. However, by the time we reconnected in 2010, he had become a full-retard Lefty. He was woke before they started using the term. Now, I wonder if he can even find a job anymore (as he is White and OLD). Per his web presence, it does not seem he has had a substantial gig since 2014.
