The US is the new Soviet Union. I despise this country now. Sometimes its hard for me to believe, but I now think America is a POS country.

“Jaywalking” is one of those actions that the police can turn into a crime when it suits the purposes of the politicians who order the police. “Loitering” is another one. There is no definition of loitering, so the police can accuse you of it for any action at all. “Disturbing the peace” is another.
Those laws exist precisely for that purpose - to enable police to arrest someone for another reason without ever revealing the real reason.
Just as the fbi raided Trump’s place claiming it was about classified documents, when it was really political retribution ordered by a decrepit angry bitter vengeful self-pooping old man.

Almost everywhere in the United States jaywalking might get you a ticket. I say “might” because there is such a thing as officer discretion. It won’t get you arrested and handcuffed. But I suppose these cops were determined to get this poor lady on something. If it wasn’t for jaywalking, it might have been for “disorderly conduct”, or some other such nonsense.
But we mustn’t blame the police here. We must continue to back the blue. Because just like the stooges of fascists everywhere, they were probably just following orders.
My pastor did a recent sermon on what faces us. His summarized the US is under judgment, and the only option for true Christians is to humble themselves, pray, seek God’s face, and turn from their wicked ways. (2 Chron 7:14)
This has no application for anyone else.
We’ve lived through a coup by Big Pharma, Media Moguls, the alphabet agencies, George Soros, and his army of termites. We don’t have many on “our side” who even acknowledge what has happened and even fewer who are willing to do anything about it. It used to be said that we could vote our way out of whatever mess we were in, but elections and voting have become a twisted heap of wreckage in the wake of the coup.
If you watch the whole video, she was given the opportunity to get out of traffic and move to the sidewalk to avoid arrest. She chose to be arrested. From the video, but that is the way I saw it.
Someone needs to quickly remind the capitol gestapo that they now work for the Republicans. Someone needs to remind that Republicans of that too.
