Supporters of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro have stormed the National Congress building in Brasilia - in a move similar to Trump Voters' January 6 invasion.
The protestors invaded Congress building, the Supreme Court, presidential palace and are calling for the military to overthrow current President Luiz Inacio.
Left-wing veteran Inacio has only been in power for a week, after being inaugurated a week ago as supporters of the former president claim the election was stolen.
Footage from the scenes strike an eerie similarity to those who stormed the Capitol building on January 6th after claims from former President Trump that the election was stolen.
Supporters of Bolsonaro can be seen breaking through the barriers and entering the building.
It comes after da Silva, known as Lula, defeated far-right Bolsonaro in an October election.
President da Silva is currently on an official state trip in São Paulo, after saying in his inauguration speech he would rebuild a country in ‘terrible ruins’.

Wonder if they have the mail in ballots and e-machine scamps there too?
Nobody can trust any election going forward as electonic machines can be hacked and mail in ballots can be forged.
There needs to be full chain of custody on each vote.
The Following are Needed Voting Reforms
• Make Election Day a national holiday. Election Day voting only.
• Polls operate for 24 hours—midnight to midnight Eastern time—and open and shut simultaneously nationwide.
• Voters should not be swayed by results in states with earlier precinct closures. To minimize the influence voting, the media should be discouraged from reporting of totals, “calling” races, or reporting projections based on election day exit polls before the votes are completely tallied on election night.
• Voters must show photo ID. Only adult U.S. citizens can vote.
• Paper ballots only, which must be maintained for a physical audit trail. No electronic vote selection, or storage on USB drives.
• Full chain of custody of ballots certified by representatives of all parties.
• No ballot counting without witnesses.
• All ballots must be counted within 24 hours. Election officials who fail are held accountable.
• Totals reported may not exceed ballots cast. Hand-audit until it does (fraud vitiates everything).
• Voter rolls must be cleaned frequently and by the registration deadline: two weeks before Election Day. If officials won’t clean out the fraud, crowdsource it with public voter rolls.
• Eliminate electronic Voting Machines. There are too many unforeseen means to exploit voting machine systems, from within and without, to justify the risk of abandoning paper ballots, same-day voting, and tabulation. For the same reason businesses minimize embezzlement, they don’t give the same person control of the checkbook and responsibility for reconciling the checking statement.
• No more mass mail-in ballots. No ballot harvesting. Limit absentee ballots to the sick, infirm, the military on deployment and those who will be absent on Election Day (traveling). Must applied for in advance. We can no longer trust a system to obviously open to fraud.
Mail-in ballots defeat two of the principles of sound elections.
1) There is no secrecy of the ballot - there is no certainty that a mail-in ballot was not either bought or coerced by someone looking over the voter’s shoulder, or for that matter that it was not completed by a third party with the voter’s willing OR unwilling cooperation. The voting booth provides the privacy to eliminate that threat to the legitimacy of the election.
2) There is no verifiable chain of custody once the ballot is completed - Who did what with it after the ballot left the voter, particularly without voter ID?
BTTT!!!
Apparently, some of the foreign press print the truth.
Ours does NOT.
The article title put quotes around the word stolen instead of victory. If they corrected that it would be accurate.
“Not even fox news”
Seriously? Any observation of vote fraud or stolen elections is absolutely forbidden on FNC. In fact, Ryan and the Mudroch kids make sure the MSM ridicule of “deniers” is a staple on FNC.
Just looked it up. Brazil is just like the US.
Where to they use “technology” to “assist” in voting: USA, Bandladesh, Brazil, Bulgaria, Australia, Philippines, UAE, Venezuala. You get the idea.
There is no “technology” used (except simple offline scanners to read paper ballots) for any votes in the following countries:
Spain, Sweden, UK, France, Finland, Germany, Indonesia, Netherlands, Norway, Canada....
Lula Da Silva is a convicted criminal. Start with that/
A LOT of that “stuff” needs “fixin`”...
Thanks for the post!!
“Lula Da Silva is a convicted criminal.”
Yes, that’s for sure.
It’s crazy that Brazilian law is letting convicted criminals take part in presidential elections. Lula is pro China as well...
Bad times for the Brazilian people.
This is important stuff...barely getting any mainstream coverage here. I guess they’re hoping nobody here finds out about it.
Godspeed and best of luck to the Bolsonaroistas !
Nothing similar there. J6 was a few idiots being egged on by provocateurs and given opportunity by deliberately deficient security. If the Trump camp were earnestly trying to do a revolution, 800K true believers would have done it. Looks from the photo here that there are maybe 800K true believers or more, and they’re in deadly earnest.
Young Frankenstein! I’ve been looking for that scene for a while now.
The Daily Mail. I wouldn’t line my cat’s litter box with that leftist rag.
“Invasion’’? Pffft. It’s s**t like this that makes me not very fond of the Brits.
Now, that was really an insurrection! January 6th was a short-lived riot.
If January 6th had been a real insurrection, the Capitol Police would have been driven from the Capitol and a Trump flag would have been flying atop the dome. January 6th was no insurrection, it was a legal protest, largely peaceful but with a small percentage of those there that day getting wildly out of hand and rioting. There never was any serious attempt to seize the Capitol or topple the government.
Punish those rioters who engaged in violence or destruction but stop calling this an insurrection which is total dramatic BS.
I smell a lawsuite!
Party ownership of the print media
made it easy to manipulate public opinion,
and the film and radio carried the process further.
....... The Ministry of Truth, Winston's place of work, contained, it was said, three thousand rooms above ground level, and corresponding ramifications below. The Ministry of Truth concerned itself with Lies. Party ownership of the print media made it easy to manipulate public opinion, and the film and radio carried the process further. The primary job of the Ministry of Truth was to supply the citizens of Oceania with newspapers, films, textbooks, telescreen programmes, plays, novels - with every conceivable kind of information, instruction, or entertainment, from a statue to a slogan, from a lyric poem to a biological treatise, and from a child's spelling-book to a Newspeak dictionary. Winston worked in the RECORDS DEPARTMENT (a single branch of the Ministry of Truth) editing and writing for The Times. He dictated into a machine called a speakwrite. Winston would receive articles or news-items which for one reason or another it was thought necessary to alter, or, in Newspeak, rectify. If, for example, the Ministry of Plenty forecast a surplus, and in reality the result was grossly less, Winston's job was to change previous versions so the old version would agree with the new one. This process of continuous alteration was applied not only to newspapers, but to books, periodicals, pamphlets, posters, leaflets, films, sound-tracks, cartoons, photographs - to every kind of literature or documentation which might conceivably hold any political or ideological significance. . . . And somewhere or other, quite anonymous, there were the directing brains who co-ordinated the whole effort and laid down the lines of policy which made it necessary that this fragment of the past should be preserved, that one falsified, and the other rubbed out of existence. |
None of the lame stream media reported actual vote totals, only percentages (51-49).
