WASHINGTON -- Amid all the division in Washington, Friday marks two years since the deadly January 6 siege on Capitol Hill.

There is a new lawsuit from the estate of a Capitol police officer who died during the attack.

It was filed by the family of Officer Brian Sicknick, who was from New Jersey.

The lawsuit accuses former President Donald Trump of being responsible for Sicknick's death.

It also names two men who were charged with assaulting him with a chemical spray. The suit is seeking over $10 million in damages.

It’s just PR, but it does give Trump a delicious opportunity for pre-trial discovery into the fabrication of the event by the FBI and Pelosi. The feds will pressure the plaintiffs into settling for nothing to avoid having to respond to Trump’s discovery requests, while the judge will pressure Trump into waiving costs and order the settlement to be confidential so the plaintiffs can claim they won.

Okay, does that open the door for all the relatives of the thousands of Americans killed and raped and mugged by illegals aliens to sue Biden for dereliction of duty?

Yep, NaNa, the nation is indeed slouching towards widespread violent civil conflict — and the evil principality that is YOUR DEMOCRAT PARTY is 100% responsible for inciting it.

The butthurt continues. Today the Democrats held a propaganda meeting about the Jan 6 fiasco. They are playing the victim card to the hilt; only fools will buy their rhetoric.

They keep beating that dead horse. They must realize no one outside the beltway gives a damn about January 6th. Why do they continue this idiocy?

There were no officers who died in, or from, the Jan 6th incident.

I heard it was filed by his girlfriend. Which is true? The answer to this doesn’t change the fact that it is a totally frivolous suit. It is filed in a venue where Trump can’t get a fair shake and egged on by political opponents who know that the outcome will be rigged and the Sicknick girlfriend or family can cash in.

So it’s no longer an insurrection but is now a seige? Typical. Pump, pump, pump up the volume.

I want Ashlii’s family to sue the DC police for murdering their daughter in cold blood

Byrd should have been tried for killing Ashli, even though he would probably have been acquitted. Had Byrd been convicted, such a lawsuit might have had a chance. Instead, the Capitol Police decided that killing an unarmed Republican veteran was perfectly legal, so no trial was necessary.

I’ve only seen his girlfriend mentioned by name as the one bringing the suit in the article. It appears that the MSM wants to bring the Trump-supporting (at least before Jan. 6) family into the article to sensationalize it, hence the family reference in the title. An unbetrothed girlfriend is not family and certainly not one that has been out of his dating life for over a year.

The fact checkers at the Department of Homeland Security have deemed your post to be "misinformation", and your airline boarding privileges have been revoked until you publicly renounce your thoughtcrime.

There is a new lawsuit from the estate of a Capitol police officer who died during the attack.

If during the attack includes two days later and if Trump caused his death by natural causes than I'd say they have a case.
