Panamax freighters need to take the canal to Houston, Corpus
hdisty and New Orleans . It is now more efficient and probably cheaper than California.

Of course, new engines for those rigs cost up to $25,000

Try up to $60,000, and that's just for the engine. Getting a computer controlled engine to run in a truck it wasn't made for would be a whole 'nother matter. Nobody does this. Plenty of owners buy rebuilt engines to keep their old trucks going so they won't have to put up with the problems and expenses that come with a newer engine though.

There’s a port on Mexico’s Pacific coast with an American controlled railroad that goes to Laredo Texas.

Sounds like farmers are going to be calling it quits. Who needs to eat anyway?

As long as white housewives are able to virtue signal, starvation is a good thing.

Dang!

We can expect to see CA hire 600,000 Migrant-Invader Vermin (MIV) to use wheelbarrows to move offloaded containership freight from the LA docks to a new staging area just west of Las Vegas...

Driving in either direction between Vegas & LA on a clogged I-15 will be a nightmare...
There will be great opportunities for lemonade and taco stands and early-voting locations all across the high desert...

“Tractor trailers” are different from farm tractors.

However I’m sure the libs will get around to banning them as well.

Tractor trailers carry freight. Produce is freight. Much produce comes from ….California.

I thought most of the diesel pollution problem was solved when we went to low-sulfur diesel.

Does every (truck) diesel engine after 2010 require DEF?

= = =

Yep.

Got them real clean.

But that didn’t shut down the economy.

So, put on another regulation. We will shut it down yet.

tractor-trailers

Just have them legally re-gendered as trailer-tractors, their true inner self. They've been living a lie as trailers this whole time.

It’s not just tractor trailers, it’s DIESEL TRUCKS. The kind used on farms ALL ACROSS AMERICA hauling horses, cattle, workers, etc. on every ranch and farm. So what they all just up and buy brand new trucks at $80 grand + a pop?

The world falls off flat for my tractor at the Oregon/California border.

I will NEVER cross that line. No amount of money will ever see me deliver jack shit to Cali.

Starve and freeze libtards. Tens of thousands of me exist

Can’t wait for the morons to legislate themselves into a statewide famine. We can rename it the Donner Party State.
