I’d read that it’ll get colder up there but didn’t know it was going to be single-digit cold. BRRRRRR
We’ve cooled off a bit but not real cold. Highs in the low 50s and that’s fairly close to normal. The wind hurts though. It went through my clothing while out cat food shopping this afternoon. Hit the jackpot though! I went to Lowe’s for more water filters for the well and they have large bags of dry cat food! LOTS of it. One stop and I came home with nine bags. I’d have gotten more but my bum back limits me. I plan to go back to load up on more tomorrow or Saturday.
We might get a little rain Saturday night, they say. We’ll see how that goes.

How’re things over there? Is it still warm enough to be comfortable? It was in the mid-60s here today and will be in the mid-70s tomorrow. WAAAAAY too warm for this time of the year. I’m already dreading summer. LOL!

It’s cooled off over here to more normal temps. Low 50s, maybe a couple of mid-50s, for the next week. A biting wind took the fun of being outside today.

We’re a little above seasonal temps. Normal is upper 40s or so, so we aren’t much above. Our coldest weather usually hits mid-January and goes through February.
I hope none of us gets hit with another arctic blast.
It would have been nice to stay in but it was well worth it to head out. Found a motherlode of cat food and came home with several big bags. If my back wasn’t so crummy, I’d have gotten more today but I know my limitations. I plan to go back tomorrow. There’s no telling how long this shortage is going to last.

I need to order duck food tonight before I go to bed. I LOVE that they deliver and put it right where I want it in the garage. Sorry...I live in the city. 🙄

WooHoo! What good news that you found the cat food you’ve been looking for. What has caused the shortage? Hubby orders ours from Chewy, so I didn’t even know there was a shortage!
I had no clue they carry cat food now. It’s apparently a recent thing. And it seems others don’t know it wither since the shelves at the grocery stores are pretty empty and Lowe’s had a pallet loaded with bags. I’m going back for more, that’s for sure.
It’s great you can get the corn for the ducks delivered. Those bags are a lot heavier than the cat food bags.
I have no idea why there’s a shortage of dry cat food but it’s been going on for over a month. I had a stockpile, fortunately, but it’s dwindled. I hit the stores over here yesterday and came home with only two bags. I was going to hit all the grocery stores in Tullahoma but didn’t need to. I’d gone to Lowe’s first for water filters for the well and found out they had it. It saved me a lot of walking across parking lots in the nasty wind. LOL
Well, then bravo for Lowes! It was just the right time to go in for those filters. I hope you find some more next time you go.
