“I don’t think it’s keeping Trump up at night.”

It should. Trump said not supporting McCarthy was playing a dangerous game.

Why wasn’t PDJT working the phones instead of fielding calls asking for his support? Because he’s just not that into McCarthy.

At what point does McCarthy fold and have to vacate his prematurely inhabited Speaker’s office? That’s would be humiliating.

"... let’s see what happens ..."

Take your cape off and grow some balls, SuperTrump.

Seems like Trump is beginning to realize he made a big mistake by backing McCarthy, just like he messed up by backing McConnell.

He often does not listen to the base at first, but then corrects himself when he sees what we think.

What is this headline even supposed to mean.

The bigger question is will McCarthy stick with Trump.

The RINOs in the House will have to decide whether they can tolerate a Speaker who likely will make the Democrats look bad, or simply give their votes to the Democrats for Speaker.

If they do the second, my prediction is that Republican Party ceases to be a major party, and someone, maybe Trump, will then give the tens of millions of conservatives a REAL home.

Andy Biggs- AZ 5th CD, wants the job.

A quick check finds that he has a 0 score from the ACLU, a 0 score from an environmental conservation group, and a 0 score from the AFL CIO. All the right enemies, so Biggs sounds good to me.

I’m an AZ MAGA voter and I support Andy for Speaker.

Trump doesn’t get a vote does he?

And Trump endorsed McCarthy, didn’t he?

Exactly.

Kind of curious who Pres Trump voted for. Oh wait, he didn’t. He’s not a member of the House.

They can’t keep away from him.

However, it would be awesome if one or two of the 19, in the next round of voting, submitted his name. Heads would explode.
