Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) went off on some of her Republican colleagues on Tuesday as the contentious speakership vote is underway, telling reporters that some of her Freedom Caucus colleagues and “supposed friends” have been demanding positions for themselves and acting hypocritically.
“We have been negotiating talking, debating back and forth in our conference, trying to come to a really good rules package,” she said, explaining that she witnessed a very different story in the conference meeting, where she discovered that “several members, three, in fact,” went “last night and were demanding positions for themselves, demanding gavel positions, demanding subcommittees, demanding for people to be taken off committees and people to be put on committees.

Those comments are from the guy that wrote the article. Yes Biden is a puppet. I’m aware.
But the sentences you pick can be applied to damn near every elected official in the country, at every level.
Sadly, that bar is woefully low. But he doesn’t want any part of it, so it’s moot.
Gaetz is an f-ing clown. So is Boehbert. MTG is the real deal.
Being speaker is about building consensus. Since when has Jordan built consensus. He knows if he’s speaker, and an effective one, he’ll end up being thrown on the heap of previous Republican speakers. Those to the right of him, and some exist, would eat him alive and others would pile on.
Time will tell. Regardless, pretty much nothing will get done. If anyone thinks otherwise they haven’t been paying attention to what these UNIPARTY hacks are all about.

That’s true...I have said before that a “professional politician” is a person who can’t get a real job...
proofreading helps
But these loonies want Jordan (20 votes) who turned down the job and endorsed KM.
I heard her this morning. I was shocked. She says she doesn’t want to negotiate for anything but she complains that she has no committees and that her friends didn’t ask for a seat for her on any committee and then were negotiating with Kevin. Now Marjorie Taylor Greene is a fervent Kevin supporter and she is adamant that he’s the one who needs to be the speaker or there’s gonna be a democrat in there. I think you promised her committees that she really wanted but she doesn’t want to say so. I think she is a lot less admirable today than I did yesterday.
When did Matt Gates say that he wanted Jeffries or speaker via plurality? I never heard him say that
Many are scared to oppose Kevin. Kevin is the one with the power to take away their committees and their money. Not Trump.
I’m with you on MTG
The biggest problem, IMHO, is that politically the country is too divided and past the tipping point.
There is no working together. Which is fine with me, because for the Left that means everything they want and nothing for anyone else.
As for the Right, some folks want Pres Trump. They look forward to the mean tweets and brash talk. Then we have the Country Club/RINO/ChamberOfCommerce/National Review types. Then we have folks that are Conservative but pay ZERO attention to what is going on and what their elected reps are doing , shrug their shoulders and just vote on name recognition. And within those groups, there’s no getting along and the differences are getting more defined.
I am peeved that McCarthy didn’t help Trump
get any of his wins. No money for the wall.
We still have Obamacare and a health care system
that covers too little and cost way too much.
Kevin was in leadership with Speaker Boehner
and Speaker Ryan who he supported.
Face it he never helped conservatives congressmen
get elected.
Kevin went to the wall to keep Liz Cheney until
she stabbed him in the back.
He is proven CA. Lib.
I think he is just about the worst person who
the Gop could have as speaker.
I notice MTG has outed herself, she runs her
mouth but falls short on action.
I noticed Bobert didn’t vote for Kevin that
impressed me a lot. Outstanding
It is surprising and depressing how many think today was a bad thing.
That is secondhand information. It did not come from Matt Gaetz’s mouth
Boogie wonderland.... uh uh
