Why post this article if you think Trump is unbeatable? Why worry about the Florida Governor if he is so far behind? Because he is not and solid conservative Republicans are rallying to his potential candidacy as each day goes by.

We had just elected him for a second term….( which I supported) but a local rep for the Republican Party stopped by and assured us DeSantis IS running 2024….( which I oppose)
DeSantis hadn’t even given his Thanks Y’ALL speech for re-electing him…

And what about all those big money donations from Trump’s biggest donor Sheldon Adelson that went to Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, and the like? That would discredit Trump by the same rules you’re trying to apply to DeSantis here.
It’s pretty simple. DeSantis is conservative both economically/socially, not nuts, and younger with very little baggage. Trump is less conservative on social issues, he’s nuts, older, with a ton of baggage and legal troubles

I 100% agree with that. (I am assuming the “them” in the statement should have been “him;” otherwise, the sentence does not make a lot of sense.)
