“...therefore...”
________
Really.
“If who would’ve waited? The USSC? That wasn’t an option.”
The Democrats are really good at putting issues that would hurt them in an election on hold, meaning that they simply don’t talk about them...and then people lose their anger, pretty much forgetting the issue.
Republicans could learn a bit from that strategy, as we see here.
Drip, drip, drip leftward. What a bizarre time. I can remember many folks here who wouldn’t vote the R because they weren’t pro-life enough. Those same folks now are agreeing with this. I remember folks saying being Muslim should disqualify a candidate and yet voted for Oz, same with lgbtq and trans agenda and then voted for it. Y’all can’t complain about the state of our country if winning is more important to you than your values. Apparently even the right has it’s selling price. Disappointing.
I still accept the following possibility about evil pro-abortion politics. I question if desperate Democrats worked in cahoots with pro-abortion activist justices to have justices actually overturn Roe v. Wade (Roe).
More specifically, with Roe overturned by Court, the Democrats could then win pro-abortion votes from people who don't understand fed's constitutionally limited powers by replacing the Court's original scandalous Roe decision with likewise scandalous, unconstitutional abortion "right" federal law, a "smoke and mirrors" trick that would effectively save Democratic politically correct “right” to murder unborn children and keep Democrats in power.
Same idea with so-called "pro-life" state legislatures that pushed suspicious "no exception" abortion laws in front of 2022 elections.
None of these issues mattered on bit and they will never matter because RATs don’t campaign because they do not need to when they count the votes.
God holds nations culpable for the shedding of innocent blood. Election fraud caused the Grand Old Orgy to lose not unborn babies.
This thread will reveal who opposes the murder of babies, and who is complicit in the murder of babies. There is no neutrality on this topic, and Trump is wrong.
One.
I would agree with that assessment in general.
Look who he ran against. And frankly Trump's biggest screw up was with Kemp and Georgia, when Trump attacked Kemp for opening up Georgia after COVID. Trump's name was mud with Georgia conservatives after that.
Former President Trump blamed the “abortion issue” for Republicans underperforming expectations in the 2022 midterm elections.”
Bullcrap. He’s deflecting from his foolish statements before the elections
You must be a man! And you want to decide on women’s abortion issues? Go jump in a lake with gators.
The prolife movement saw the over turning of Roe v Wade: a goal for fifty years. With the over turning it became a state issue. Senator Linda Graham’s resolution to outlaw all abortions after 15 weeks as a federal law motivated the left in many places.
However, in two of the most pro abortion states, NY and CA we had Republican pickups in the House.
Graham, you bastard!
I agree, but I think the real point is that politicos like Lindsey Graham could have lain low and just not brought it up when it need not be.
What helped Kemp was his opponent.
Didn’t Trump say the “Pig” would be a better guv than Kemp? Think I read that here awhile back.
See Lindsey Graham and his idiocy around that time.
anyone that advocates for death of the innocent, unborn, at any stage of their development, worships the very ground of Satan. God is LIFE and if you stand against life, you stand against God.
Can’t speak for Cali, but NY was helped by 1) a less partisan redistricting than the Dems in the legislature had originally drawn, thanks to the courts and 2) “Law and Order” being a bigger issue than abortion rights out in suburbia (which is disproportionately comprised of families and seniors).
Yup.
And he was right.
I’d rather have my enemy in control that I know is evil vs. A evil Trojan horse Globalist who supports voter fraud and pretends to be a GOP.
