Ukraine looks as dark as the Black Sea.
The Ukraine is now about as dark as North Korea. Why doesn’t this feel like winning?

Britain was not known as THE MOST corrupted nation on the planet back then. Ukraine has long been known in the EU as the most corrupted banking system on the planet, mainly because the corruption was GOVERNMENT sanctioned.
When I worked those parts the old saying was: “When shaking hands with a Ukrainian, be sure to check how many fingers he stole,” it has only gotten worse since then….10 percent to Joe….

I can understand suspicion of Russia, but what you are defending is indefensible and way worse than Russia on a bad day. The best outcome here is for the anti-American zealots in Washington to be smashed and defeated soundly once again and for Ukraine to make peace with its neighbor before Washington bankrupts the rest of us.

There is serious intellect on FR. I am almost always the smartest man that walks into a room. Here I am fair to middling at best. The brain power on here is astounding.
WTF? Britain is not a former Soviet State, Ukraine is.
And Ukraine, along with Russia, was a founding constituent member of the Soviet Union… not a satellite state like Poland or Czechoslovakia that was gobbled up by the USSR at the end of WW2.
Let these two former Soviet states fight it out and quit sending them our tax dollars.
