The criminology student accused of slaying four University of Idaho students had stalked his alleged victims before the November murders and wore gloves in a supermarket weeks afterwards, according to a new report.
Cellphone data shows that Bryan Kohberger, 28, was often in the same location as the three sorority sisters and one of their boyfriends before he allegedly slashed them to death as they apparently slept at an off campus house, a source close to one of the case’s investigators told The Daily Mail.
Kohberger also seemed to be careful about not leaving fingerprints in public even as he fled to his native state of Pennsylvania in recent days, the anonymous source told the outlet Sunday.
“He’s not stupid and has been very careful,” said the source, who claimed to be “good friends” with one of the cops who had surveilled the murder suspect in the days before his arrest.
“He followed him into a Giant [Pennsylvania grocery store chain] and wore gloves the entire time,” the source reportedly said of his investigator pal.
“Not sure if they ever interacted – but his cell phone pings followed their every move for weeks,” the source reportedly said of Kohberger’s alleged stalking.

Kohberger had continued to serve as a teacher’s assistant at the university before driving his white Hyundai Elantra across the country in the days before Christmas with suspicious cops hot on his trail.
His father — who is not said to be a suspect — had flown to Idaho to make the 2,500 mile drive with his son after Kohberger completed his first semester of the PhD program at the university, the suspect’s lawyer said.

The killer is thought to have authored a Tik Tok video wherein he hypothesizes (reveals) details of the crime (that only the killer would know) including comments about a victim trying to escape and being horrifically slaughtered, suffering deep gouging knife strikes to the heart and lungs, with the killer then throwing the victim on top of the other victim that was lying dead (where murdered) in a bed.
The finding of two victims in the same bed as reported by the police may have been why the public concluded that they had been sleeping together, but even that particular conclusion doesn’t necessarily mean that they were lovers as they may have simply shared the same bed space for any number of innocuous reasons, aside from a sexual aspect, which might have been the case after all.
This evil incarnate psychopath deserves to be slowly lowered feet first into an industrial-strength appliance shredder.
Idaho has the death penalty for first degree murder. So maybe 20 years from now...
Idaho has the death penalty but it’s been ages since they executed anyone.
Did you see the article about his Professor Katherine Ramsland? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11587613/Idaho-murder-suspect-Bryan-Kohberger-studied-forensic-psychologist-Dr-Katherine-Ramsland.html
Not mentioned in the article, but he might have worn gloves to hide cuts on his hands.
Assuming it’s accurate that the dirtbag was out shopping wearing gloves, It might be that he was hiding a wound. From all the reported slashing that was done it would be highly likely that he knicked himself. Having cut up my share of large animals and used about every kind of kitchen/butcher/hunting knife there is One couldn’t do as much damage as this guy did without creating a slippery grip, bad angle, awkward stroke, etc. Low light wouldn’t help with accuracy. And it takes a certain amount of effort to withdraw a 7” blade from a deep plunge. And doing what this guy did takes two hands. One can’t simply wave a blade around with a limp wrist and do this much damage.
I thot it was odd from the gitgo that the cops didn’t talk about the kids cell phones or laptops. We only heard from one parent about cell traffic. Give the cops credit, I guess, for staying mum on that angle?
Thank God for that... That said, this information shouldn't have been leaked. It might 'forewarn' the next monster.
Could he have been wearing gloves because of hand injuries?
I seem to recall a report about an unsolved knife murder of a couple in the pacific northwest, Washington area. I cannot recall the particulars, but it did get a mention early in this case.
It’s really too bad that our society disallows punishments that are commensurate to crimes that are committed
There are two gates. It’s a large community. You can’t get in without a gate key. It used to be mostly vacation homes but New Yorkers bought them up to use as primary residences. Spent a lot of good years vacationing with the kids there. You could hear the engines revving at Pocono Raceway before the flag came down.
Ted Bundy was a Republican, if I remember correctly
The conversations that the dad and the son must have had on their cross-country drive ... “still with the Libertarians?” ... “umm no, they have this live and let live concept that I just don’t get.” ... “funny you have one of those cars they are looking for.” ... “yeah, just one of those things.”

This is part of my movie plot I did not anticipate.
So how involved is the Dad? Just getting the kid? Kid usually needs help to drive home? Did kid wear gloves at stops along the way? What did Dad think about that? What did kid tell Dad; I’m pretty sure the killing topic would come up. If it didn’t Dad should figure it out. Or Dad knew and came to ‘help’ the kid. Did kid set up Dad with a false story? Did the cops talk to the Dad about the trip?
This car trip will be 3 episodes in my ‘season’. And this will produce additional seasons, too: court and trial, prison and girlfriend letters waiting for appeal, Woo Hoo.

“every contact leaves a trace.”
= = =
I see this with physical contacts.
How about digital or phone contacts? Probably so.
How about stalking, or distant surveillance?
I know if you just think about something the FBI will get you.
We need new audio for the Ken Doll: Crime is hard.
I know, Barbie, but I am not dissing females today, ok?
“he was so smart he left his cell phone on him while planning and stalking.”
Right. That’s the first thing that came to my mind. He has a PhD or similar in Criminology — and he takes his cell phone everywhere. You just have to watch Oxygen or ID for a week to know that’s really, really stupid.
“Were these women lesbians? “
They were best friends since early childhood. Not lesbians.
Another incel gone berserk. Add a large dose of vegan and this guy was a ticking time bomb.
