“An FBI surveillance team tracked him for four days before his arrest while law enforcement worked with prosecutors to develop enough probable cause to obtain a warrant, the two law enforcement sources said.”
That’s typically done after they’ve accessed these databases to identify the person. Then they pick something that doesn’t violate his rights, like his White Hyundai, use that to get the warrant, and then access those same databases (now legally) to build their case.
I passed a Alfa ROMEO dealership and remarked about a SUV. Now,I’m getting ads on Facebook!
“unless compelled by a valid legal process.”
Why do they not simply say “warrant”? Most likely answer: They have some loophole that lets them send over the information without a warrant.
Be interesting to have them testify under oath to Congress and see what they mean by “unless compelled by a valid legal process.”.
Your cell phone and your smart TV listen to you all the time.

That happened to me the other day..... some extended family came home for Christmas and at some point, we ended up chatting about RVs. A few hours later, I flipped on my computer and the first site I go to has all kinds of ads for new RVs in the sidebar....
A lot of old cold cases are solved this way
yup
So let's bury him.
Yes. You’d be shocked at how many crimes are solved that way.
And of course the government isn’t keeping samples of your DNA from all those covid tests people sent in... Nope. Not at all.
And I don’t trust the FIB one bit. Unless I hear this suspect confess to me to my face in person I will assume the FIB has fabricated all the evidence and picked a political prisoner they want to eliminate.
YES, FIB FR monitors. I don’t trust you because you are a corrupt organization filled with lairs and crooks.
He came to Nashville last year and it was a disappointment. Not funny. And his rant against Kyle Rittenhouse was just dumb.
My granddaughter did it. I was pissed.
I hope that this case is not built on DNA evidence - to me, it is not as reliable as people believe. There may be other evidence, more conclusive. It is all too easy for a prosecution to nail some weird, unlikeable person, often guilty of other crimes, and make it seem that they must be the killer.
