McCarthy: ‘The Very First Day, the First Thing We’re Going to Do Is Repeal the 87,000 IRS Agents’

Friday, during an appearance on FNC’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy teased Congress’ immediate upcoming actions to start 2023.

First up, according to the California Republican, after electing the Speaker of the House was to repeal the 87,000 IRS agents provision passed by Congress earlier this year.

“Great question – the first thing we have to do is elect our Speaker. We can’t do anything until we elect that Speaker,” he said. “And if you watch, the White House is actually pushing back on our investigations, saying we’re not going to give you anything till you get this solved. So, we need to be able to move forward with that.”

2022 Has been a special year!

Revealing so much filth and corruption within the U.S. Government.

Politicians, the FBI, DOJ, CIA, CDC, Social Media Websites, MSM........etc.

I'm ashamed of what we've discovered and we need major changes soon.

Let's head for success! - ULTRA MAGA 2024!

All well and good. It’s meaningless, and he knows it. But hey, whatever floats your boat and fools the masses.

Lots of people will support this until the day they have to call IRS customer support.

He could do that.

The Senate won’t pass it.

The President would veto it anyway.

I wish they would focus on stuff that can get passed instead of just posturing.

The first thing to do is refuse to recognize the election of House members who were certified due to fraud. The House has the right to do that unilaterally as the judge of the election of its members, and issue subpoenas related to the same. Alaska, Arizona, Delaware County PA, and Chicago IL, all can be investigated, and such investigations could help restore a Republican form of government and aid the election challenges in AZ or elsewhere. It can easily be done, but Frank Luntz’s roommate wants to focus on something else that requires support in the Senate and/or Slow Joe. This guy can’t be named Speaker, since he is just grandstanding, but won’t actually use the power of the office to accomplish what needs to be done.

We can celebrate this with a meal of barbecued pig wings. RINO promises are less reliable than democrat threats.

Bad move!
The first thing you do is make sure the IRS does political diversity hiring and education. The leftist gotta go. Then, you find out how many conservatives have been targeted over the last 20 years because of political affiliations. Then you use all 87k employees to ensure diversity audits, starting with if Joe Biden reported gifts from Hunter Biden in excess of 15k without paying taxes or declaring.

We have to use Democrat tactics to make the public understand the rot it caused and how the Republic was transformed into a fascist state.

Yeah. Right. And what authority does the House have to do this without the Senate and President agreeing?

Control over spending perhaps?

But pandering by McCarthy? Of course.....

The House could eliminate funding since they control the purse. They won’t.

“The House could eliminate funding since they control the purse. They won’t.”

Of course they won’t, as that would be too good of an issue to force a government shutdown. And the current Congress made sure that this next Congress doesn’t even have a say in it for at least a year.
