Barbara Walters, the groundbreaking TV journalist who interviewed presidents from Richard Nixon to Barack Obama, died Friday. She was 93.
Walters’ death was announced by her longtime employer, ABC News. Her cause of death was not reported.

During the O.J. car chase on the Freeway, Barbara was injecting some inane comments and one of the principal commendators (Jennings or Donaldson) said something like “Barbara be quiet.”
She admitted to having had an affair with Senator Edward Brooke of Massachusetts. That must have been in the 1960s or 1970s.
I will miss Ba Ba Wa Wa. She was pretty cool.

When Walters became all the rage, I wondered how someone with such a bad speech impediment got hired anywhere. I thought it must be some kind of “hire the handicapped” thing.
When Gilda said “Hi, I’m Baba Wawa” I lost it. I laughed so hard I couldn’t catch my breath. It was perfect!
